Bebe Rexha is gearing up for the “best tour of my life” and all seemed well until last night in NYC, where a concertgoer threw a phone in her face. A video of Rexha kneeling on stage in agony has gone viral, and fans are praying for her safety even as they react to the shocking gesture with horror.

Last night, Bebe Rexha, whose real name is Bleta Rexha, was on the 13th show of her tour, performing at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in NYC.
A day ago, he posted some photos of himself from his recent tour, as well as the journey in between, capturing all the fun and exhaustion, as he captioned the image, “Not trying to be silly, but I definitely had the best f—ing tour in my life. Seeing your face every night just makes me happy and my heart is so full. Alsooooo I’m Good is 6X platinum in Canada. Blessed.”
Fans reacted immediately, telling the 33-year-old how much they were looking forward to it all, leaving comments like:
“can’t wait to see the best f—ing tour of my life!”
“It was an honor to see you perform in Toronto and to see you receive your award for I’m Good going x6 platinum in Canada”
“I really admire you and all your confidence. You are absolutely perfect the way you are. You are beautiful in every way.”
That said, the NYC concert didn’t end well for Rexha, as someone in the crowd threw a phone at her face, injuring her and forcing her to go get medical attention. In the meantime, here’s his other performance, and hopefully he’ll recover enough to make it.

Near the end of her NYC concert, Bebe Rexha was suddenly hit in the face, on the cheek, right under her left eye, by a phone thrown by one of the many concertgoers in the crowd.
The Grammy-nominated vocalist appeared shocked before she turned away from the crowd and fell to her knees in what appeared to be pain, even as stunned crew members rushed to help. The show was halted as the “I’m Good” singer was rushed offstage, as she was seen holding her face behind a curtain before medics took her backstage. The crowd, equally shocked by the turn of events, chanted his name in a show of support.

Fans found the act truly deplorable and many weighed in with comments calling for strict action against the perpetrators:
“If I were him, I would sue. Take the phone to the police station, and say you were hit with it. Tell them to unlock it, find the person it belongs to and charge them with assault.”
Others just hope that Rexha gets well and hope that she is fine,
“Bebe Rexha really deserves better… between this and the audience showing no sign of caring. Like IDC if they pay $6 to come see him, at the end of the day, they have to show respect…”

Meanwhile, according to a Tweet from PopCrave, her mother, Bukurije Rexha confirmed that Bebe got stitches for her injuries.

As most fans reacted with shock and horror when the defenseless singer was injured, one eagle-eyed fan appeared to have identified the man who threw the phone and brushed him off:

Apparently, the security has caught him and he has been identified as Nicolas Malvagna. The NYPD allegedly booked him for assault and later upgraded it to a felony because Malvagna used the phone as a weapon.
