Nevertheless, the 2022 Model of the Year continues to be radio silent, but that is not the case for her father, Mohamed Hadid, who is very vocal about his support for Palestine. The famous patriarch has shared several posts that show his loyalty to his country.
He shared a quote from Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir: “A Jew who kills Palestinians is not a murder suspect, but a hero who will have my full support.”

In a follow-up post, the property developer insisted that his support for Palestine is not the same as condoning the killings committed by Hamas. “To be clear, I condemn killing and taking hostages or abuse, torture of civilians. Arabs, Muslims, Jews, or Christians. And a complete rejection of the occupation’s treatment of the occupation,” he wrote.
Taking a break from his rant to celebrate his beloved daughter, the doting dad shared a few photos showing Bella in her equestrian era along with a thoughtful note.

Another comment read, “Happy birthday queen of Palestine! God bless you @bellahadid,” while this follower added, “Happy birthday to our Nazareth princess!”
Another user referenced Kylie Jenner’s post of support for Israel, which she deleted. “I hope you and your family are not friends with the Kardashians because they have shown solidarity with Isreal,” another fan wrote.
However, it wasn’t all positive, as some critics slammed the Hadid family for supporting Palestine. One troll commented, “Princess of Hamas. I’m sure he likes to kill Jewish grandmothers with his countrymen. The ugliest soul and no amount of plastic surgery can fix that.”
Unsurprisingly, Bella has remained silent on the issue, given the backlash she experienced the last time she showed public support for Palestine. During a 2022 appearance on “The Rep” podcast, he recalled drawing “Free Palestine” on his hand and was criticized as a “hateful person.”
Bella explained that the backlash extended to her losing several modeling gigs and several old friends leaving her. “I have friends who really let me down, like friends who I’ve had dinner with at their house on Friday nights for seven years now won’t let me in their house anymore,” he said.
