“Love Is Blind” fans may have seen the social media chatter and criticism of Lussier’s friends. Countless TikToks have been made to dissect the pair’s friendship, and the two are also frequently mentioned on “Love Is Blind” Twitter.
A Twitter user posted a photo of Shelby’s reaction to Lussier and Peden’s marriage decision and wrote, “You must be a bad friend to make this comment about your hurt friend. Shelby is not shit.” The thread has received over five thousand ‘likes’ and has been retweeted over 500 times.

Lussier gave the lowdown on People Magazine about Shelby and revealed why she seems so against his relationship.
“I think the thing with Shelby is that she doesn’t take anything for granted,” Lussier explained. “I think he’s blunt, but he’s also my person.”
Lussier also insisted that his friend always had good intentions while on the show.
“…I think everything he does comes from love,” he continued. “And he didn’t want me to get hurt. He’s been through every heartache I’ve been through, and he’s not going to let it happen again.”
Although Lussier continues to defend his friend’s reaction, he admits that his friend was never present for the experiment and his relationship with Peden.
“If he didn’t think Paul was the right person, he would have said something,” Lussier insisted. “But I had to take everything he said, of course, with a grain of salt because he didn’t know our whole story,” Lussier concluded. (via Yahoo!)
