Bethenny Frankel Breaks Silence About Deleting Positive Review On Kim Kardashian’s Product

Bethenny Frankel is speaking out after deleting the first positive review of a Kardashian-Jenner product!

Over the past few months, the reality TV star has made honest and harsh criticisms of the family business — including disparaging two products from Kim Kardashian’s skincare line and Kylie Jenner’s Birthday PR Box — in a series of comments on social media. However, the businessman had a change of heart on Thursday when he shared a rare positive review of Kardashian’s SKIMS sock line.

Turns out, Frankel put the socks in that positive review when she shared another TikTok video informing her one million followers that she had taken it down. The entrepreneur stated that “an individual I won’t talk about because I’ve decided I purge them from any conversation I have anywhere” owns five percent of the SKIMS business.

Unfortunately, he does not share the same views with the individual based on some recent racist comments he has shared publicly. In his words:

“Brands are often afraid of who they will associate with. It could be Dior hanging out with someone who has a very dangerous concert or many different areas. That’s sort of a business brand alignment conversation, but for the purposes of this video, I’ll say that’s why I’m pushing the video. I would say it’s not a personal thing… it’s completely personal, but it’s important.”

Frankel later added that he wanted to “stick to” his plan to “not add oxygen and talk about the individual.” He admitted that he had made a mistake and “inadvertently promoted” the wrong person by checking the socks.

Therefore, the alumna of “The Real Housewives of New York City” concluded that because she did not want that “message” in her or her child’s life, she had to stop discussing it – positively or negatively.

Frankel ended the video by saying, “So the video will be deleted because I don’t connect five percent of the business owners who have created an anti-semitic, dangerous, evil and destructive pattern across this country. So thank you for listening.”

Based on his last statement, fans quickly learned that Frankie was referring to Kanye West — now Ye — who has been in the news for his racist remarks against the Jewish community. They praised “The Big Shot with Bethenny” star for sticking to her morals in the comments, giving the clip 17k+ likes in its first 13 hours.

As for the previous clip, Page Six noted that the 51-year-old kicked things off by shaking the magic eight-ball, asking, “Would I like the SKIMS socks?” While the ball doesn’t provide a definitive answer, Frankel is quick to move on, crediting the family or PR people who sent him samples despite his long list of harsh criticisms of family-backed businesses.

After revealing that she got several colors, the Skinnygirl founder admitted that the socks feel “nice and luxurious” in part because they’re not “too thick.” In the end, Frankel was impressed with the product and confessed: “I’m going to wear this. I gave this ‘okay I like it, Picasso; this is very good.” He claimed “The scheme won” in the caption of the since-deleted video.

In September, The Blast reported that Frankel and her fans agreed about needing a “Kardashian Interlude.” The 51-year-old began by admitting that he had been “scared” to have the conversation even though it had nothing to do with him being afraid of Kardashian-Jenner’s parent, Kris Jenner. Explaining his situation, the 51-year-old reflected:

“What are we telling our children? What is the message? Take it all? Be as rich as possible? Filter as much as possible? Be as fake as [sic] as much as possible? Brag as much as possible? Engage and take pictures of yourself that make you look in the best light possible, look like [sic] not like who you really are, like a shell of your former self, as much as possible?”

She captioned the video, “Since I seem to have been “shadow banned” on social media since posting about celebrity brands…hmmmm [thinking emoji]. Coincidence maybe? Or is censorship true?” Although the video has since been deleted, it had nearly 12k comments and 169k+ likes at the time of our original report.
