Bethenny Frankel is back reviewing celebrity products, and Jennifer Lopez is on the hot seat.
As a former cast member of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” the 52-year-old is no stranger to her honest opinions. The entertainer has repeatedly taken the internet by storm with unfiltered comments about other stars, especially their business ventures.
In her latest review session, the Skinnygirl founder dives into the “On The Floor” singer’s skincare line, JLo Beauty, and rates some of the brand’s popular items.

The rising TikTok sensation took to the video-sharing platform to share her thoughts on Lopez’s two skincare products, a luminous serum and an under-eye cream. Starting with the serum, which she got for $67.15, the media personality tells the story of the product.
According to the New Yorker, the stuff became popular after makeup artist Scott Barnes allegedly called it Jergens’ serum. After rubbing the product on her face, Frankel seemed impressed with the item, which she described as “a really nice, simple serum.”
Giving some background on his relationship with the Latina goddess, the “Naturally Skinny” author claims that the couple may not be on the same page. “I know J.Lo. I’ve met J.Lo. I don’t think J.Lo is my biggest fan, but a lot of people aren’t,” the entertainer admitted.
“I’m still going to be honest about my opinion on their skincare,” added the mum-of-one before testing out the under-eye cream. Claiming to be an “expert” in this type of product, the brunette advised viewers to keep the trademark as it keeps the lotion fresh.
The “Bethenny Ever After” star also reviewed Fresh Take Under Eye Cream positively. However, he noted that the $40.80 product was expensive. “She’s a rich bitch, and it’s a rich bitch under the eye cream,” the 52-year-old observed before dissecting the growing number of celebrities in the beauty and skincare industry.
According to Frankel, the “explosion” of celebrity brands in the industry is “crazy” and “explosive”. Performers noted that the eponymous line did not “pop” as much as ventures with different names.

Citing several examples to prove his point, the New Yorker said: “Think about it, Hailey Bieber — Rhode, Selena Gomez — Rare, Rihanna — Fenty. But this is J.Lo; you can tell he’s dying to get into this. She has a body that shines, and it doesn’t show up like other celebrity brands.”
Crediting Lopez’s skin care packaging, the BStrong disaster relief founder noted it was “very pretty,” “gorgeous,” “easy to go on a vanity,” and “glamorous.” Despite its excellent quality, the TV personality noted that many brands, such as J.Lo Beauty and Rare Beauty, are “very understated” and “subtle”.
Comparing other product packaging trends, the former housewife quipped: “Sometimes it feels like it’s all a show and there’s no point, where you spend money on packaging, but what’s in the real product?”
Frankel ended her review with a question for fans, asking if celebrities should be allowed in the beauty industry as opposed to makeup artists and estheticians. “They are movie actors; they are singers, so are they experts in the skin care space. It’s just a conversation.”

This isn’t the first time the reality star has made headlines for her thoughts on the “Hustlers” cast. A year before Frankel reviewed Lopez’s skin care products, the New York University graduate weighed in on Grammy nominee Ben Affleck’s marriage.
The TV personality expressed concern for the Hollywood heartthrob during an episode of her podcast, “Just B with Bethenny Frankel.”
The 52-year-old claimed that the “Gone Girl” star’s previous struggle with alcoholism was challenging for both the sufferer and those they met. “I call it activation. Addicts have surrounded me all my life. Stress is not good for an addict,” explained the mother of one.
Frankel said he was concerned about Affleck, whom he described as a private person. According to the “Skinnydipping” author, the entertainer’s high-profile marriage to Lopez may have caused him stress, given the media attention on their romance.
“He runs at Dunkin’ [Donuts], and he would smoke cigarettes, and he lived his life in Boston,” the reality TV star continued. “So now he’s with this mega-famous person, and it’s a lot.”
