TV personality Bethenny Frankel has shared her thoughts on Wendy Williams‘ the fight for health and legal care.
In two TikTok posts shared within hours of each other, Frankel touched on how triggering and confusing the whole situation was and also discussed how the stress of daytime TV may have contributed to Williams’ illness.
Bethenny Frankel Says She’s Avoided Watching Wendy Williams Documentary

Frankel recently weighed in on Williams’ health and legal care struggles following the release of the TV host’s documentary.
Taking to TikTok, Frankel claimed that he had avoided watching the documentary, imagining how much it would trigger for him.
“It’s our worst fear — getting older and feeling alone, helpless and uncared for,” Frankel said before commenting on Williams’ situation. “He is alone, we can see people around him, but he is alone in this world like most of us. But he is being exploited.”
Frankel also highlighted similarities between Wendy Williams’ legal guardianship and actress Britney Spears’ conservatorship, where their wealth was managed by someone else. In Spears’ case, her father was appointed, while Williams had a legal guardian named Sabrina Morrissey appointed for her.

He went on to say that the whole situation surrounding Williams was confusing and traumatic.
“What does it matter what he wants? He also wants to control his finances, which is a terrible idea,” Frankel added of Williams.
“So the same person who wanted to control his finances, yet the banks intervened, wanted to produce a documentary while he had Graves’ disease, dementia, and was a raging drunk. Like, what the f— is going on?”
Bethenny Frankel Conceived That Doing The Daytime Show Made Wendy Willams’ Health Issues Worse

In a second TiTok broadcast released within hours of the first, Frankel discussed the possibility that Williams’ health problems worsened due to the stress of running her now-defunct daytime show, “The Wendy Williams Show.”
Frankel began, “I have this question about Wendy Williams. Does stress make it worse? Um, because of doing talk shows, people like Kelly Clarkson and Drew Barrymore and Ellen and Wendy make it look easy. That’s very stressful.”
She added, “Daytime television is brutal. Just because it’s cheery and flowers for spring doesn’t mean it’s actually cheery. They’re always talking about late-night talk shows. Daytime talk shows. Brutal.”
Frankel also mentioned that since the money that comes with it is “astronomical,” Williams must be forced to follow the lifestyle. At the same time, he faced the “terrible” situation of hundreds of people who depended on him, some even siphoning off his funds.
Wendy Williams’ Legal Guardian Accused of Stealing Her Food

The video from Frankel comes after Williams’ close friend Regina Shell spoke out against the former show host’s treatment under her legal guardianship, according to Daily Mail.
Shell claimed that Morrisey blocked Williams’ access to his money, meaning the TV personality would go without food for hours as he waited for his order to be approved.
“When I was in New York and staying with Wendy for the summer, I noticed … she didn’t have access to her money. Every time he has to do anything he has to pay for, he has to go through a custodian,” Shell said during his appearance Monday on Chris Cuomo’s NewsNation series “Cuomo.”
He added, “And he would call to order his breakfast at 7:30 in the morning with the caretaker, and he would take the order, but the order wouldn’t show up until sometimes noon. So Wendy won’t have any food.”
Wendy Williams’ Best Friend Gets Her Dementia Diagnosis Doubtful

Shell revealed in an interview that he delivers the talk show host food when he returns to his base.
“When I got back to LA, I had to send his food from Los Angeles to New York for a delivery service because he didn’t get….” he said. “That’s what worries me because [Williams] told me he had no food.”
He also questioned the diagnosis of Willams’ care team, which claimed the 59-year-old had dementia and aphasia.
“You know, I’ve heard [her] team – and we don’t know who that team is – and from Kevin and his nephew, Travis, but no doctor has really confirmed this diagnosis,” Shell said.
However, he went on to say that it is plausible that Williams does have the disease, adding that his doubts may be due to his closeness to the TV host.
“Maybe I’m in denial because I’m so close to the issue,” Shell continued. “But I don’t want to believe that he exists, at this point it can’t be produced. That is not my opinion.”
