“Real Housewives of New York City” alum Bethenny Frankel recently offered some advice to Raquel Leviss regarding her contract negotiations for Season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules.”
In an honest interview with Entertainment TonightThe 52-year-old Skinnygirl mogul encouraged Leviss to stand firm and negotiate for the compensation she deserves after the Scandoval affair.
He acknowledged Leviss’s past mistakes of having an affair were normal, stating, “He had an affair. He’s not the first person in the world to have an affair and, you know, bully or beat someone for a tragic mistake that, yeah, everyone, like, Lord of the Flies grabs and tears the flesh off the carcass. Great. OKAY.”
He added, “You’re wrong, you’re sleeping with people’s boyfriends. It happen. You work in a bar on a reality television show, the most toxic environment in history.”
According to Frankel, the media has sensationalized the Leviss situation, blowing it out of proportion, “and marketing it like a stupid election.”

Describing the situation further, Frankel pointed out how Leviss “is a punching bag for everybody on every talk show in the entertainment industry.”
While drawing comparisons, the Bravo star likened it to stepping into the ring with boxing great Mike Tyson, saying, “You’re going to put me in the ring with [Mike] Tyson, I’ll get paid. So, yeah, he shouldn’t have shot.
He added, “He should have negotiated a contract that said ‘I was dragged down the street and I was mentally abused.'” He continued, explaining, “That’s a good example of what reality television is, that’s a perfect example. .”

When asked if someone struggling with their mental health should be a part of a reality TV show, Frankel vehemently expressed her disapproval, saying, “Absolutely not.” However, he likens the allure of reality television to a strong drug, explaining, “The drug is too strong. Game drugs. Relevant drugs. The drug is money.”
He continued, “It’s a drug to always be chasing dragons and wanting to come back next season and get that shot and show that you’re not really the terrible person they think you are.”
He concluded, “That’s the producer’s talent, when you’ve been beaten and everyone hates you, you have to come back next season, You can’t end on this note.”

Frankel also praised the former pageant queen, who made headlines for missing the cast’s recent trip to Lake Tahoe. Despite rumors that she might reconsider if the offer was right, Leviss chose not to join her co-stars for the holiday.
Instead, he appeared in Tucson, Arizona, where he spent time with his family. Meanwhile, in the highly-anticipated casting trip for Season 11 of the hit Bravo series, several cast members have been spotted, including Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Ally Lewber and Brock Davies.
A video from the mini-reunion was shared on Shay’s Instagram story that led to her and Schwartz being called out by “VPR” fans for being “fake” and acting friendly with Sandoval.
