The singer and his family come to neck in their epic family costumes. Not only did we get an appreciation for a beloved family cartoon featuring a black family, but we also got two different costumes from Queen Bey herself.
The family dressed up like the Disney Channel Proud Family a show that Beyonce is associated with; her band Destiny’s Child and her sister Solange sing the theme song. The family has the perfect number of members and the exact same gender of children as the recently rebooted classic cartoon.
Everyone has their role! Sister Blue Ivy plays Penny Proud and her twin sisters Rumi and Sir play twins Bebe and Cece. Of course, the father, Oscar Proud is played by Jay Z and Beyonce is the kind mother of Trudy Proud!

The “Drunk In Love” singer can’t leave his beloved head of house, Suga Mama. She’s dressed up, unrecognizable as the cane matriarch, wig, glasses, and all. The rest of the family’s clothes are perfect! Maybe professionally done.
The family poses on a set that mimics the cartoon’s opening credits family portrait. The purple rug matched perfectly just like the dress. They complete the set with a title card hanging above the family that reads “Proud Family”
The family’s costumes made an impact on the singer’s fans who were endlessly commenting on the clever costumes and the perfection of it all.
