Beyoncé Dedicates Tear-Jerking Performance To Tina Turner During London Show

Beyoncé continues to pay tribute to one of the biggest influences in her music career, the late “Queen of Rock’ n’ Roll,” Tina Turner.

Before the former Destiny’s Child band member came into the limelight, the Pop culture icon, among other young souls, grew up singing the late singer’s voice.

The 83-year-old has inspired several female talents in the music industry. However, his decades-long reign ended on May 24. Queen Bey performed one of the legend’s biggest hits on her tour to honor her legacy.

Days after the “I, Tina” author breathed her last, the Texas beauty paid tribute to the late icon during her Renaissance World tour stop in Tottenham, London. Instead of giving an emotional eulogy, the 41-year-old wowed her audience with a cover of Turner’s “River Deep — Mountain High.”

The late singer’s 1966 hit was released while she was a musical duo with ex-husband Ike Turner. In contrast to the original song, Beyoncé performed the powerful melody at a slower tempo.

As seen in a video shared by one of the “Beautiful Liar” musician’s fan pages on Twitter, the 16-time AMA winner stood confidently in front of a sold-out crowd at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Like his previous concerts, the performer did not disappoint in the fashion department.

Paying tribute to the “We Don’t Need Another Hero” artist, the mother of three ditched her usual sassy ensemble for a more innocent look. The Parkwood Entertainment founder wore an electric blue jumpsuit that covered her entire body, including the honey blonde’s fingers and toes.

The “Crazy In Love” singer performed the epic Turner song made after his final tribute to the Queen of Rock’n’Roll. The Texas sensation paid tribute to the 83-year-old at his tour stop in Paris.

During his performance, the showtopper asked fans to “scream” so the late legend could feel their love. Speaking about the Tennessee native’s influence, the 32-time BET Award winner stated that she couldn’t have achieved Queen Bey status without the “Proud Mary” artist.
