Bharat Raj is an Indian bodybuilder, celebrity lifestyle coach and actor. He is an International Male Physique athlete who won the Prestigious International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro Card in 2019. He runs Bratzlife Fitness Studio.

Bharat Raj was born on Friday, 26 October 1990 (age 33 years; in 2023) in Chennai, Tamil Naidu. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He did his primary schooling at SBOA School & Junior College, Chennai.

After that, he attended Hindu Senior High School in Chennai, before enrolling in St. Joseph, Chennai. Athletic since childhood, he became a member of the national basketball team in 2005. He was part of the Tamil Naidu Under-17 Basketball team in 2006.

A sporting accident in 2007 forced Bharat Raj to quit basketball following which he chose bodybuilding as an outlet for his abundant energy. In an interview, while talking about the same he said,
I have always been interested in sports. After the accident, I was restless. I had to get back into fitness and bodybuilding was the best option. It strengthened my ankle that was injured in the accident, and peaked my fitness spirit.”
Bharat Raj started his career by participating in men’s bodybuilding and physique competitions. He had a road accident in 2009, while in his first year at St. Joseph, he had a bicycle accident that broke his collarbone. After that, an 8 cm plate was inserted along with his left clavicle. Even though it looked like the end of his weight training journey, he didn’t give up. He recovered within 3 weeks to compete in the competition.

Bodybuilding and Modeling
At the age of 19, he was among the top four at the Mr Chennai event in 2009. After that, he started getting offers to walk the ramp as a model. As a model, she has walked the ramp for fashion brand Anjalee And Arjun Kapoor, House Of Chase clothing store in Chennai,

In addition to modeling, she also started working as a fitness trainer. He worked independently as a fitness trainer from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, he established The Body Studio gym in Besant Nagar, Chennai. He is adept at preparing cross-circuit training. Soon, he became a leading celebrity trainer with clients like actors Vikram, R. Sarathkumar, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Bindu Madhavi, Nivetha Pethuraj, Vishal and S. Shankar. Bharat trained Vikram for his special weight loss and weight gain routine for the Tamil film I (2015). Bharat came into the limelight when he was the second runner-up in the Provogue MensXP Mr India World 2014.

Early in his career, he was sponsored by Evolution Sports Nutrition (ESN). Another achievement he achieved in his career was when he won the Musclemania India Model Universe title and 3rd place in the Fitness Universe category in 2015. He trained under Saveen, the head trainer of FITT Club Bangalore for the competition.

After that, he participated in various Male Physique competitions. He went on to win the Fitfactor Physique Model Champion title in 2016. After that, he joined the IBBF Mr. South India 2016, where he won the title of Mr. South India Mens Physique 2016. He represented India at the Arnold Classics Asia 2016 in Hong Kong, where he placed 8th and participated in the Wawan Classic 2017. In 2019, he won the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro Card ) which earned him a ticket to compete in Pro Shows around the world including the IFBB Mr. Olympia professional bodybuilding competition. He won the Pro Card over 1000+ contestants from 42 Countries. He is the first from Tamil Nadu and the fourth in India to have earned the card.
