Bhupinder Singh aka Bhupinder Pritam Singh aka Bhupinder Singh Virk was born on Sunday, 18 May 1969 (age 54 years; in 2023) in Kuan Khera village in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh, India. His zodiac sign is Taurus. Due to severe floods in his village during his childhood, he and his family moved to Kalagarh, Uttarakhand where he lived in house number A-54 New Colony. He then continued his studies at the College of St. George, Mussoorie. In 1990, he moved to Mumbai to pursue an acting career.

Controversy
Slap a publisher
On 1 July 2016, during the shooting of the Hindi TV show Kaala Teeka, she requested makeup accessories from the makeup team who did not have the items and could not manage them as the shops were closed at that time, hence she could not get the items and refused to shoot. He got furious and started abusing the production team including the 55-year-old head of production, Rajendra Upadhyay. He then slapped Rajendra after which he was banned for three months from shooting.
A few days later, he apologized to Rajendra and others after which the Cinema And TV Artists Association (CINTAA) lifted his ban. Bhupinder later said that he had not slapped anyone and that things had been blown out of proportion; however, he was happy that the ban was lifted.
Accused of Murder
On December 3, 2023, Bhupinder Singh had a fight with 60-year-old Gurdeep Singh, the owner of an agricultural farm in his village, over a Eucalyptus tree. Supposedly, Bhupinder wants to cut the tree and sell it, but Gurdeep argues that the tree is his, and Bhupinder cannot cut it. Bhupinder was enraged by the incident and shot Gurdeep, his sons, 25-year-old Amreek and 23-year-old Govind, and his daughter, Sukhvinder Kaur.
While Gurdeep and Amreek sustained some minor injuries on their bodies, Govind Singh was seriously injured and died a few hours later.
Jeet Singh, Gurdeep Singh’s brother, later filed an FIR against Bhupinder and his three aides named Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh, and Gurjat Singh at the Badhapur Police Station in Bijnor after which they were arrested and put in jail. It was later revealed that the revolver used by Bhupinder was registered in his name in Kalagarh, Uttarakhand.
