On September 9, 2022, Kavya Yadav ran away from her home after an argument with her parents. Later, on 10 September 2022, Kavya’s parents Suraj Yadav and Anu Yadav started a Live Stream on Kavya’s YouTube channel titled ‘Bindass Kavya is missing please find our daughter.’ In a live telecast, Kavya’s father said,
We’ve been looking for him since last night,” and “if anyone sees him, please let us know. Please help us our 16 year old daughter kavya yadav is missing from 2pm on 9th sept.”
Reportedly, on the same day, Kavya Yadav was found by the Government Railway Police at a railway station in Itarsi. Itarsi is about 321 miles from Kavya Yadav’s home in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Itarsi Government Railway Police sub-inspector, Vibhendu Vyanktesh Tandia, said that Itarsi Government Railway Police found Kavya Yadav in the sleeper coach of Kushinagar Express coming from Bhusawal on Saturday and then handed her over to her family. According to media sources, Kavya Yadav ran away from her home after she was scolded by her father for poor academics. While talking about the same, Kavya Yadav said,
I got angry and I left the house without taking my cell phone. I am going to Lucknow by train. Meanwhile, the police arrested me.”

I uploaded the video to TikTok and then I just called for the night. The next morning around 6am when I checked my phone, my ID had been disabled somehow. I was so upset because I had just lost a year of hard work in one night. My mother supported me in that difficult time, she comforted me by saying that we will talk to the concerned authorities of TikTok but did not get any response from them. It was a very difficult time, I was sick for two weeks or so but then I tried to get over it. I created another TikTok ID and continued.
