Bindi Irwin Sweetly Celebrates Her ‘Extraordinary Parents’ Anniversary

Bindi Irwin has, as usual, honored her parents’ ‘eternal love’!

The 24-year-old conservationist used vintage images of her mother, Terri Irwin, and her late father, Steve Irwin, to commemorate their 31st wedding anniversary.

The emotional moment was highlighted by accompanying captions and reactions from fans, who praised Bindi’s parents for showing them what love really means. Terri and Steve walked down the aisle in June 1992 and were married until his untimely death in September 2006.

Although Steve has been gone for over 17 years, his children have never forgotten how much he loved his wife, Terri. To that end, her first child and daughter Bindi spoke the truth when she took to Instagram to release a picture of her and Terri posing on the beach.

Standing with one arm around his wife, the beloved Crocodile Hunter beamed and rested his other arm on the open passenger door of his famous white Land Cruiser. She also crossed one leg before the other as the wind blew through Terri’s hair. In the caption, Bindi wrote:

“Love like this is eternal. Happy Birthday to my amazing parents. ❤️.”

“They have always been my favorites,” a second person wrote, while a third read, “Their love story is inspiring and beautiful.” A fourth person commented, “Definitely a soul mate! They are meant for each other. Happy Anniversary!! ?,” and the fifth confessed:

“Most of my adolescence was shaped by your beloved parents. Grateful that you have carried on the legacy openly with such grace and kindness.”

Although Terri has yet to release her own post observing her and Steve’s posthumous milestones, she did tweet a picture of them posing in a natural setting for their 30th anniversary. For a moment, the lovebirds beamed at the cameras, with the 58-year-old American-Australian folding her arms around her midsection while Steve held one of her hands. Above the photo, he gushed:

“I married this incredible man 30 years ago today. What an adventure! Love and legacy live on.”

Her fans are expected to rally around her, with some recounting the impact the pair’s performance had on their lives and others praising Terri for keeping her dead partner’s memory alive through the family’s work at the zoo.

Not one to be outdone by his wife, Powell responded with a heartfelt message, declaring, “I love you so much. I had the most amazing and beautiful date ❤️ I’m the luckiest man alive.”

The rest of the comment section was invaded by Bindi’s followers, who felt inspired by her and her lover’s love for each other. One netizen called the couple a “beautiful couple,” and this user stated, “You two look so good together ❤️❤️.”

A third supporter claimed, “It’s great to see you two so happy,” and a fourth commented, “Love Love Love the love you have for each other ❤️.” Others simply praised them for being “cute” and making Steve “proud.”

Bindi followed up with a set video for The Beatles’ 1969 song “Here Comes The Sun,” which featured her family posing via her Instagram story. In the clip, the “Crickey! It’s the Irwins” star stuns in a black top, blazer, long floral skirt and a barely noticeable pout.
