“Bachelor in Paradise” stars Jacob Rapini and Jill Chin shocked viewers when Jacob asked Jill, once again, to be his girlfriend in the reunion episode.
Jill, beaming with joy, says yes and Jacob sweeps her up (literally) and carries her off the stage. Unfortunately, the two didn’t date long after the reunion as Jill confirmed their split a few days ago.
Now, Yakub breaks his silence, admitting that he is the one to blame.
Jacob Writes A Heartfelt Letter To Jill After The Breakup

The 28-year-old “BIP” star took to Instagram to share some kind words after he and Jill called it quits.
“You were the right person at the wrong time,” he wrote in the Instagram caption alongside a black-and-white photo of him and Jill.
“You give 100% while I give 80. You push me to find quality work, change my schedule, and focus on my family instead of empty relationships. You ask for better communication and I have less. You show up when I don’t. The trust is gone,” he continued, taking the blame for why the two didn’t make it.
Jacob is from Scottsdale, Arizona while Jill lives in Scituate, Rhode Island. The 28-year-old admitted that the distance didn’t help the relationship, writing, “Yes, distance is a big factor for me. Being 2,000 miles away comes with its share of challenges but that’s not the main reason. It is a willingness to commit. I appreciate you making me aware of this at the cost of you trying to make it work.
“We had a discussion before the reunion and we are both open to giving it a try. At the reunion, I want to show you a glorious moment to somehow undo the pain I caused in Mexico,” the 28-year-old continued, “But it’s not about the big moments. It’s about the little things. I wasn’t there to give my whole heart because of my insecurities. I have a lot of refining to do before I can be there mentally and spiritually.
Jacob ended with some heartfelt and kind wishes for Jill, saying, “You deserve to be loved. Right now, I deserve to be alone. Jill, good luck on your angel journey?.”
Jill Confirms Her Breakup With Jacob

Last week, Jill went on the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast where she confirmed she and Jacob had broken up because she had “no other choice” but to break up with him. The news comes just days after the “Bachelor In Paradise” reunion episode aired where Jacob asked Jill to be his girlfriend.
“Unfortunately, it made it into the rough launch phase, but then pretty quickly after that, it was over,” Jill said of where she and Jacob stand.
“I really had no other choice. I had to do the best for myself,” Jill explained to the “Click Bait” host. “There’s only one line and, like, standards that you have for yourself that you can’t allowing people to cross.”
Jill went on to say that the two started talking again after their one-on-one date was televised. “After our one aired, we were like, ‘Ooh, we caught the feeling again!’ And then we started talking more,” he said. “We decided that we might want to try this, so we’re just going to talk and try it.”
And that’s when the “BIP” reunion happens where Jacob makes a “big gesture” asking Jill to be his girlfriend. “It was, like, my fairytale moment,” he admits.
But things change when “trust has been broken.” According to Jill, “In a long-distance relationship, you need communication and trust, and we lacked both.”
