Career
After completing his studies, he worked as a UI/UX Designer at Bitzer Mobile in Bangalore, and later, he joined a private company Oracle in Bangalore. In 2013, at an open mic event, he met Indian comedian Kanan Gill. In 2014, Biswa decided to quit his job and started working as a comedian. In the same year, Biswa and Kanan started their YouTube show ‘Pretentious Movie Reviews’ where they review Bollywood movies. He has appeared as a comedian in various Amazon Video comedy shows such as ‘Biswa Mast Aadmi’ (2017), ‘Improv All Stars: Game Night’ (2018), and ‘Sushi’ (2019). In 2017, he appeared in ‘Anak Abish’ and ‘AIB Video Podcast.’ He featured in ‘HDFC Life’s Behind the Journey’ video series released in 2018.
In 2017 and 2019, he wrote the script for two seasons of the Indian TV series ‘Laakhon Mein Ek.’ He has also judged several comedy shows such as ‘Comicstaan: Season 1’ (2018) and ‘Comicstaan: Season 2’ (2019). During the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, he appeared on Indian chess streamer Samay Raina’s YouTube stream. He has also performed in live comedy shows in various Indian cities including Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
