Blac Chyna Completes ‘Parent Education’ Course Amid Custody Battle With Tyga

Blac Chyna continues her legal battle against baby daddy Tyga as they battle in court for custody of their 10-year-old son.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Blac Chyna enrolled in and completed a parent education program prior to her appearance in court for this case.

We’re breaking the news that Chyna filed a “petition to determine parental relationship” and is seeking joint custody of the little one with the rapper. However, Tyga isn’t buying it and just wants to give away his touring rights.

The socialite completed a court-mandated program called “Our Children First” on Nov. 1, according to obtained court documents. Chyna chose to participate in the online program and has a certificate of completion to her name.

“Parents are required by law to attend a mediation orientation/parent education program (Our Children First) and mediation sessions before appearing at Requests for Orders or Hearings regarding the custody and/or visitation of their children,” the description of the program reads.

It continued, “Parents must complete this online program only once…Please plan to complete this program in one session to ensure you receive the necessary information in the clearest manner.”

Completing the program is mandatory for custody battle cases, especially when both parties want to try mediation before appearing in court. It is a relatively simple program, as it takes about 60 minutes to complete.

In late August, The Blast announced that the former video vixen was taking Tyga to court to establish paternity and collect child support. In the filing, the 35-year-old man, who rebranded as Angela White, asked for “joint custody” of their son Cairo and listed his current living situation, asking the court to do what was “in the best interest of the child.”

As for the child support claim, Chyna stated in the filing, “The court may make an order for child support and issue an income assignment without further notice to either party.” Not sure if he’s asking for a specific amount in child support from the “Bops Going Brazy” rapper.

Prior to the filing, Chyna and Tyga had never officially filed an official custody case with the Los Angeles County District Court. However, she has previously shed light on her financial relationship with Tyga and her other baby daddy, Rob Kardashian.

In a 2020 appearance on Sirius/XM’s Hip Hop Nation, he claimed, “My greatest flexibility. I mean, just honestly taking care of my kids alone as a single parent, but no child support. So that’s my biggest flex. … That’s what happened.”

However, her statement was criticized by the father of her children, who claimed that they were always with the children and had no reason to pay child support.

Tyga Wants Sole Custody of Cairo’s Child

Almost a month after Chyna’s petition, Tyga filed his response demanding sole custody of the 10-year-old. The rapper, whose real name is Micheal Ray Stevenson, wants Chyna to have “reasonable rights to parenting time (visitation) to the party without physical custody” instead of joint custody.

Regarding traveling with minors, Tyga wants to “have written permission from a parent or other party, or a court order, to take the children out of the state of California.”

It’s possible that Tyga refuses to share custody of Cairo with Chyna because the amount of child support can be determined by how much custody one parent has over the other. Also, there’s a part about how much both parties make, and Tyga probably makes more than Chyna.

Since undergoing her identity transformation, Chyna hasn’t fared well financially. She sells some of her personal items online through consignment shops and has made over $178k this year from selling her clothes, purses and shoes.

However, that is not enough to sustain it in the long run.
