Russian missiles hit Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities on Tuesday morning, killing at least six people and injuring 70 others — with devastating images showing bloodied walking wounded.
One gruesome image shows a woman covered from head to toe in a huge spatter of blood – her head barely visible under a thick white bandage.
Before she was treated, her face was covered in thick blood, more reminiscent of a bloody Halloween mask than a woman still clutching a shopping bag from a routine exit.
He was seen standing in an ambulance, staring in shock at the devastation in Ukraine’s second-largest city, Kharkiv, which was hit hard in the early morning attack.
There, five people were reportedly killed while 51 others were injured in the attack, according to Governor Oleh Synehubov.

Air raid sirens sounded in the capital as rescuers tended to injured residents and cleared broken glass from the streets.
Tuesday’s bombing also killed one person in the southeastern city of Pavlohrad, the region’s governor said.

Other horrifying images show civilians being rushed to help on stretchers with their faces completely bandaged, while others have red faces covered in blood.
The horrific attack included more than 40 ballistic, cruise, anti-aircraft and guided missiles, Ukrainian officials said, noting that their air force had intercepted 21 of them.
Nearly 20 missiles were shot down over Kyiv, the city’s spokesman said.
Residents described hearing a loud bang before seeing a nearby building on fire.

“Then, we went to the balcony to look, and saw all these buildings on fire.”
