Rep. Firebrand Lauren Boebert is ringing in the new year with yet another public outing.
The Colorado Republican, 37, allegedly punched her ex-husband in the face after the two nearly got into a fight at a restaurant Saturday afternoon, an aide told The Daily Beast.
Boebert’s aide claimed that Jayson Boebert made an “aggressive move” toward her and that she “put his hand in his face, put his hand over his nose” to shoo him away.
Other testimony claimed that the congressman managed to land two punches on Jayson Boebert’s nose, prompting him to call local police a “victim of domestic violence.”
No one was arrested for the ordeal.
Lauren Boebert (R-Col.) denied stalking her ex and reportedly called the police to dispute the domestic assault allegations.
During their night out at the Miner’s Claim restaurant in Silt, which is in her district, Jayson allegedly became “disrespectful,” became obscene, and “became an a-hole,” the aide said.
The Boeberts tied the knot in the mid-2000s, but later divorced in 2023 due to “irreconcilable differences.”

“With a heavy heart, I have filed for divorce from my husband,” she said at the time of the divorce. “I am grateful for our marriage for all these years and for our beautiful children.”
Their divorce came shortly after their son Tyler, 17 at the time, got a girl pregnant.
Jayson has a rap sheet and previously pleaded guilty to “public indecency and lewd exposure” for his actions at a Colorado bowling alley in 2004, involving two women when he was 24.
Lauren Boebert, herself, also has a record of minor arrests, including disorderly conduct and missing a court summons.
The Silt Police Department is said to be conducting an “active investigation.” The Post contacted police for additional information.
A spokesman for the congressman did not return a request for comment. The Post was unable to reach Jayson Boebert, and his voicemail was full.
The rough housing allegations were first flagged by the American Muckrakers, an anti-Boebert super PAC.
Good and sad news from Silt, CO. @laurenboebert punched her ex-husband Jayson in the nose 2 times and then continued to beat him. Then he called the police on him. As much as I despise it, it’s just sad for men. Jayson has a witness. More to come.

Preceding the alleged dust-up was tension when Lauren Boebert drove to her ex’s house to give one of their children a ride to dinner, the Daily Beast reported.
Jayson Boebert allegedly tried to hug her, but the mother of four pushed him away. He then calls to apologize and the two agree to have dinner at a public restaurant.
This isn’t Boebert’s first high-profile altercation.
He allegedly went into the bathroom shouting matches with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) last year.
Last September, Rep. Boebert hit it off with his then-boyfriend, Quinn Gallagher, co-owner of an Aspen bar, while they were in the theater audience for a performance of the musical “Beetlejuice.”
Surveillance footage captured her blowing a puff of vape smoke into the air and appearing to grope her man’s crotch mid-performance. Gallagher was also seen stroking her breasts.

Both were fired from the show for causing disruption.
Officials claimed that the two violated theater policy by taking pictures and drew complaints from those sitting around them.
Later, the congressman and Gallagher parted ways. Lauren Boebert later suggested the two were not meant for each other, as she is a Democrat.
“I’m too eccentric. I am very famous for my animated personality. Maybe too bold a personality,” the comedian told One America News Network after the ordeal.
The 37-year-old Republican narrowly missed re-election in Colorado’s deeply red 3rd District in the 2022 midterm elections. He defeated Democrat Adam Frisch by a scant 546 votes.
Frisch is running for the seat again and has been touting formidable campaign fundraising numbers.
Apparently looking to avoid a rematch, Boebert announced late last year that he was choosing to jump into Colorado’s 4th Congressional district, a more conservative region in the Eastern Plains.
“This is the best way I can continue to fight for Colorado, for the conservative movement and for my children’s future,” he said at the time.
