Boney Kapoor is a 69-year-old Bollywood Film producer (born on 11 November 1955). He was born Achal Kapoor to a film-making Punjabi family, who migrated to India from Peshawar, Pakistan. His family initially lived in Raj Kapoor’s car garage when they landed in Mumbai. In those struggling days, his family also lived in the ‘chawl’ area of ​​Mumbai.

Controversy

On April 8, 2023, at a check post near Hebbalu toll in Davangere, Karnataka, the Election Commission of India (ECI) seized 66 kg of silver worth Rs 39 lakhs allegedly belonging to Boney Kapoor. A BMW car registered to Bayview Projects Pvt Ltd, owned by Boney Kapoor, reportedly transported the silver item from Chennai to Mumbai without proper documents.
