Outside the US, the first baby born in South Korea was welcomed by parents struggling with infertility, according to The Korea Herald.

Lee Ju-hong and Im A-yeon’s miracle son was born at Cha Gangnam Medical Center in Seoul.

“[Our baby’s birth] even more special because we have been married since June, 2016, and gave birth to him through in vitro fertilization. We truly wish the best for all couples who are experiencing fertility problems across the country,” A-yeon told the newspaper.
