Brad Pitt Accused of ‘Looting’ a Winery

A legal dispute over the vineyard, Château Miraval, located in the picturesque southern French region, has been ongoing since Pitt and Jolie’s highly publicized split in 2016. The couple, once known as “Brangelina,” bought the vineyard in 2011, and it became one of their most important joint assets in a 50/50 partnership with winemaker Marc Perrin.
According to recent court filings, Pitt is described as acting like a “sulky child” for “looting” and squandering the vineyard’s profits on futile projects instead of responsibly managing the assets, according to Daily Mail.
In court filings, the “Bullet Train” actor is accused of acting like a “whining child” and engaging in “blatant extortion.” Jolie’s legal team has argued that this behavior shows a blatant disregard for their previous business partnership and has slammed her for passing herself off as a winemaker, stating she “deals in illusions, not dirt and grapes.”

According to Daily Mail, Pitt allegedly squandered profits from his French vineyard, Château Miraval, on a seemingly futile project. Recent court documents filed by Jolie’s lawyers allege that the actress diverted large sums of money from the vineyard’s income into personal ventures that served no practical purpose.
In legal filings, he has been accused of using the profits to fund extravagant and unnecessary renovation projects at the farm. The effort allegedly included lavish additions and renovations to various areas of the property, including a swimming pool, an ornate staircase and a recording studio building.
He was also accused of engaging in “increasingly outrageous actions to maintain control” of the winery and that he allegedly “discarded [the rosé producer] his assets” since their 2016 divorce.
Brad Pitt Almost Bought Angelina Jolie Bet But For NDA…
MEGA
In a recent revelation of their business deal, Jolie and Pitt appear to have reached an agreement on the purchase of his interest in their business venture. However, that value hit a snag when Pitt tried to enter a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that prevented Jolie from publicly discussing a widely reported spat between the former couple in 2016 while they were on a private jet with their children, per Vanity Fair.
The news channel made the revelations after interviewing former security chiefs, winemakers, real estate brokers and other sources with insider knowledge of the couple’s dealings in the south of France.
Instead, Pitt’s rep maintains that the NDA was Jolie’s idea, and that she only pulled out of the deal when she began negotiations on the deal.
The “Tomb Raider” actor went on to sell his stake in the winery to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler, who Pitt claims he “secretly” did to “damage” him and “enrich himself” in return.
Angelina Jolie Allegedly Blinded Brad Pitt

According to Daily Mail, the “World War Z” actor was blindsided by Jolie’s actions regarding the sale of his shares in Miraval, as he reportedly had no prior knowledge of the plot and only learned about it through a 2021 press release.
Although the former couple had a “mutual and binding commitment” not to sell the property without the other person’s permission, Pitt claimed that Jolie violated the terms of her right of first refusal if she wanted to sell. He instead chose to sell secretly to Tenute del Mondo, a Russian-allied spirits company controlled by billionaire Shefler.
Pitt claims that by doing so, he is associating Chateau Miraval with Russia, its homophobic laws, and the invasion of Ukraine – potentially tarnishing the rosé’s highly regarded reputation.
