Brad used to choreograph for Navarro College but he left college and joined TVCC, for whatever reason. However, among all the drama that happened in season 2 of the show, this particular incident also shocked fans and they reacted to it on Twitter. One user wrote, “Y’all got booted with this choreographer switch! Brad went from Navarro to Trinity Valley…CONFUSED BOOTS!”.

He graduated from Central High School in 2009 and enrolled at Texas Tech University where he studied public relations and graduated in 2010. He also majored in Communication from Texas State University and earned his degree in 2013.
Starting from 2015, Garrett has worked as a design coordinator at Varsity All-Star. He also worked as an instructor at NCA since May 2009.

Brad Vaughan’s career
Along with his career as a cheerleading choreographer, Brad Vaughan also owns a gym with his business partner Brett Hansen called Spirit of Texas located in Arlington, Texas. The gym’s website states “Spirit of Texas Cheer and Gymnastics offers the best facilities and equipment to meet all your cheerleading needs. We have two locations that both span over 18,000 square feet each. The North location is in Coppell, on the Beltline, minutes from 121, 635, and the George Bush Turnpike.”
“The North Gymnasium has over 30,000 square feet of combined air-conditioned office and gym space, including multiple parent viewing rooms, parent conference areas and study areas. It also has over 40,000 square feet of open gym space with a combination of 7 floors of springs, non-spring floors, rod floors, trampolines and tramps.”
Brad has 20 staff including him and his partner who run the establishment. Based on the fee schedule, Spirit of Texas charges $30/year for registration fees. For an Unlimited Tumbling Class Pass (3 months) they charge $249. Additionally, Gymnastics classes cost $80/month, Preschool classes cost $60/month, while jumping classes only cost $10/class.

Brad Vaughan’s family
Brad Vaughan was born to his parents Jimmy Lee Vaughan and Robbie Vaughan.
His father, Jimmy grew up in McKinney where he attended school and graduated from McKinney High School in 1959. He spent most of his life in supervisory work for Texas Instruments and later worked for McKinney ISD.
After Brad’s mother died in 1998, Jimmy remarried his second wife Shirley Vaughan of McKinney, Texas on September 12, 2009. Almost nine years after his marriage, she died on July 2, 2018 at the age of 77.
In June 2017, Brad wrote on his Facebook, “I am so thankful for this man! I love you dad”.
Jimmy is survived by his sons Randy Vaughan and wife, Brenda of McKinney, Texas, and Lance Vaughan and wife, Karen of Anna, Texas; daughter, Debbie Mooney and husband, Chris of Mineola, Texas. He also has 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Furthermore, Brad also lost his grandfather Herman W Becknell on January 28, 2010 at the age of 93.
One of his siblings, his sister Debbie Vaughan Mooney is on Facebook. Debbie attended McKinney High School. He works at Fresh by Brookshire’s and Brookshire’s. He has worked for Reflections Hospice Of Texas, and as a mortgage loan officer at Capital Mortgage.
