Brandi Glanville’s Lawyers Want Andy Cohen ‘Fired’ After Sexual Harassment Allegations

Things are heating up in the feud between former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville and ‘Bravo’ boss Andy Cohen.

Following the sexual harassment claims made by Glanville against her former boss, Andy Cohen, the latter apologized, stating that she was “joking” but admitting that her comments were “inappropriate.”

Now, in a scathing response, Glanville’s lawyers, Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos, have slammed Cohen, arguing that he should be fired for allegedly sexually harassing the reality TV star.

‘Why Did Andy Cohen Get a Pass?’

Cohen’s public apology and response to Glanville’s allegations of sexual harassment appear to have added fuel to the fire, as the reality TV star’s lawyer insists that what the Bravo boss did was “sexual harassment” and not just a “joke”.

“Any clearly intoxicated boss encouraging their employee via FaceTime video to watch their boss have sex with another employee is sexual harassment, plain and simple, under any definition, even one concocted by NBC,” Glanville’s lawyer wrote. .

They continued, “Why did Andy Cohen get a pass? Any other supervisor at Comcast/NBC who engaged in this behavior would have been fired immediately on the spot. It’s no excuse to say that this was a joke. NBC was wrong to give Andy too a lot of power across their network.”

The lawyer went on to state that Cohen “is a man who organized multi-city reunions of the franchise, produced and starred in his own show to promote this vehicle, organized a monstrous conference that monetized the “Bravosphere” behind the women and capos running this reality machine. NBC has clearly decided that he was too big to fail.”

Concluding their message, the lawyers stressed that Comcast CEO Brian Roberts should step in and fire Cohen.

“NBC learned nothing from the cover-up at NBC NEWS. Just like Matt Lauer, Andy Cohen is now part of the coverage. NBC continues to protect those in power. Brian Roberts, it’s time to step in like you did with Andy Lack and Jeff Shell, and stop the hypocrisy and do the right thing. Your heritage and decency demand it,” added Freedman and Geragos.

In her first letter, Glanville claimed that an allegedly “drunk” Cohen told her he was going to sleep with another Bravo star while “thinking” about her. She stated that having Cohen as her boss made her feel “trapped” because she had complete control “over her career.”

The letter read in part, “To make matters worse, Ms. Glanville herself has been the victim of sexual harassment at Bravo by none other than Andy Cohen. In the video sent by Mr. Cohen to Ms. Glanville in 2022, Mr. Cohen—clearly intoxicated—broke about his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking about it and invited her to watch via Facetime.”

Her legal team stated, “Mr. Cohen was Ms. Glanville’s boss at the time and exercised complete and total control over her career. This is an extraordinary abuse of power that leaves Ms. Glanville feeling trapped and disgusted. It is inconceivable that Mr. Cohen remains in his position despite this behavior and harkening back to the bad days of Matt Lauer and NBC News when profits came before people.”

Immediately after news of Glanville’s sexual harassment claims hit the headlines, Cohen took to social media to clear the air.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that what happened between him, Glanville, and Kate Chastain, the Bravo star, was all a “joke”. However, Cohen stated that it was “inappropriate” for him to make such a joke and apologized.

The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking to Brandi. It was really meant as a joke, and Brandi’s response clearly told her she was in on the joke. That said, it was completely inappropriate and I apologize.

“The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking with Brandi. It was really meant as a joke, and Brandi’s response clearly told her she was in on the joke. That said, it was totally inappropriate and I apologize,” Cohen said.

Glanville’s complaint stems from allegations of sexual assault made against her by her former co-star, Caroline Manzo, regarding events that occurred while filming the show, “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
