In a video shared to TikTok, the country music star can be seen stopping his performance after some people in the crowd started to get a little rowdy when they were heard screaming.
Brantley Gilbert couldn’t hear exactly what they were saying, so he got closer when fans started pointing at a man in the crowd and saying “Safety!” and “He just punched a girl in the face!”
The “Bottoms Up” singer then jumped off the stage and started yelling at the man, “Hey, calm down. Calm down.”

The fan who posted the video to TikTok, captioned it, “This is why we love Brantley Gilbert, the guy behind me punches a girl, and @brantleygilbert keeps falling! ❤️.”
The video now has nearly 150,000 likes, 860 comments and over 1,800 shares.

Many country music fans took to the comments section to support Gilbert for standing up for the woman in public and intervening.
“Us country boys don’t play, don’t play with our women or anything,” one TikTok user commented on the video while another chimed in, “This is why I love Brantley! ?❤️.”
Another user saw Brantley Gilbert last year, saying he did something similar as well. “He stopped the show when I saw it a few years ago because a man was messing with women who didn’t want to be messed with. I love him,” they wrote.
While a country music fan said, “And that’s why I love country Man. oh yeah,” as another chimed in, “Brantley Gilbert is an amazing and loving person.”

Last month, the country music singer was shocked by the news that his duet with Lindsay Ell, “What Happens In A Small Town,” had gone Platinum.
“My team just surprised me with the news that #whathappensinasmalltown is officially PLATINUM,” Brantley Gilbert wrote on social media.
He went on to thank his fans, who took to BG Nation, writing, “#bgnation you all get credit for the life of this song… You all shared it, streamed it and called your local stations to hear it… Your connection to this song is a connection the same with me with the hit… I’ve been there… Driving around the house seeing all the people and places I used to avoid to avoid thinking about the song that ran away. “
Brantley Gilbert went on to thank Lindsay Ell and the RIAA Gold & Platinum Awards, writing, “And this song wouldn’t be half of what it is without the amazing @lindsayell… Couldn’t have done it without you my friend @riaa_awards.”
