Brendon Urie Confirms Panic! At The Disco Split: “Will Be No More”

Panic! At The Disco, known for the hits “High Hopes” and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” are officially going their separate ways.

Singer Brendon Urie confirmed the news in a statement posted to Panic! At The Disco Instagram when he and his wife were pregnant!

“Well, it’s been a great trip…,” she began writing on Instagram. “Growing up in Vegas I never could have imagined where this life would take me. So many places around the world, and all the friends we made along the way.”

“But sometimes the journey must end for the beginning. We’ve tried to keep it to ourselves, although some of you may have heard..Sarah and I are expecting a baby soon!,” he announced before adding, “The prospect of being a father and seeing my wife. Being a mother is humbling and exciting. I look forward to this next adventure.”

As Urie prepares to start a new chapter in his life, he is now ending his time with Panic! At The Disco.

“That said, I’m ending this chapter of my life and putting my focus and energy on my family,” Urie wrote, “and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more.”

He went on to thank fans, saying, “Thank you all for your strong support over the years. I’ve been sitting here trying to come up with the perfect way to say this and I really can’t put into words how much it means to us. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just discovered us, it’s a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also to share our time with you. I can’t wait to see everyone in Europe and the UK one last time together.”

Urie concluded with, “I love you. I appreciate you. Thank you for existing.”

Many of the band’s fans were quick to comment on the post, sharing things like “I loved every moment I was on tour with you guys. you will be missed ?” and “I’ll miss you but I’m looking forward to your new life journey brendon!!!?. “

Another fan said, “Now I’m panicking and no disco” while one user left a heartfelt comment, “I’m so happy for you and Sarah, congrats on the baby and everything – can’t wish you the best. ❤️ Thank you so much for everything you gave us and thank you for continuing Panik! as long as you are around. Z100, one of the biggest radio stations in New York, also commented on the post, writing, “CRYING?? But we are so happy for you! We will miss you!”
