Many lives have been lost during the 2022 Russia-Ukraine war, and among those lost souls is New York Times contributor Brent Renaud. He reportedly “paid with his life for trying to expose the cunning, brutality, and brutality of the attackers.”
His death was certainly tragic. But this was more than just a tragedy for his parents Louis Renaud and Georgann Freasier. Although the world has lost a brilliant journalist, they have lost a son!
Who Are Brent Renaud’s Parents?
Brent Renaud’s parents are Louis Renaud and Georgann Freasier.
Their beloved son Brent was shot dead in Ukraine by Russian soldiers, while crossing one of the first bridges in Irpin. They planned to film other refugees who left that day. But unfortunately, as soon as they crossed the checkpoint, the Russians opened fire on them.
According to US journalist Juan Arredondo — who was with Brent and was also hit by gunfire — they continued to shoot even as the driver turned back. Also, he was the one who saw Brent “shot in the neck.”
While the world is reeling from the loss of an award-winning American journalist, Brent’s parents have yet to speak out.
