Brett Patrick Dalton is an American Actor best known for playing Grant Ward and Hive in the ABC action drama series Agents of SHIELD created by Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon and Joss Whedon. Additionally, he did voice acting and motion capture for the character Freyr in the 2022 video game God of War: Ragnarök. Brett Patrick Dalton was born in San Jose, California on January 7, 1883. Dalton went to Westmont High School in Campbell, California, where he graduated in 2001. He became interested in acting when he auditioned for the school production of One Flew Over the Nest Cuckoo.
In high school, Brett was president of both the California Scholarship Federation program and student council. He played the lead role in the school play My Favorite Year. After earning a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, Brett received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama in 2011.
