Brian Austin Green is getting more candid about dealing with aging. The actress recently opened up about dealing with hair loss as she gets older and documented a recent visit to the hospital where she received treatment for the condition.

Brian Austin Green Gets Hair Loss Treatment
On Thursday, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star took to Instagram to document her visit to Dr. Gabriel Chiu recently had a PRP visit to address hair loss. According to Healthline, PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma therapy, a three-step medical treatment in which a person’s blood is taken, processed, and then injected into the scalp.

Each stage of treatment takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks and maintenance treatment is required every 4 to 6 months. Dr. Chiu is a famous medical practitioner who stars in the hit Netflix series, “Bling Empire.” In the first slide of Green’s post, he posed with Dr. Chiu in a consulting room. Both had big smiles on their faces showing anticipation for the procedure.
Accompanying the photo is a video of the procedure showing Green receiving the injection as he chats with Dr. Chiu. The entire procedure was captured from start to finish, from platelet centrifugation to Green’s hair separation and then injection.
The star actress captioned the post, poking fun at herself, writing, “PRP treatment to help with hair loss. I’m getting old ?@drchiubhps doing an amazing job. Thank you so much?. Swipe to see more!!”
The post, which received over 20,000 likes, received an outpouring of support and encouragement from fans. ‘BH, 90210’ Star Fights Ulcerative Colitis
Green is an open book when it comes to his personal life and never shies away from letting his fans know when something is wrong. Such was the case in May when she opened up about her ulcerative colitis diagnosis.
As The Blast reported, during the interview, the 49-year-old discussed losing 20 pounds due to his battle with ulcerative colitis. The “Desperate Housewives” alum was joined by his girlfriend, Sharna Burgess, who described how challenging inflammatory bowel disease has been for him.
“I didn’t realize how debilitating it was until I looked at it and saw the weight coming off of it,” the DWTS alum says. Explaining the experience, Green said, “It’s really just nutrition, like, as long as I can keep things in my system that my body doesn’t think I’m poisoning it, then it doesn’t fight back.”

He added, “I’ll eat food, and literally, it’s like, my body doesn’t process any of it. So, when you start playing catch-up, like, staying on top of being hydrated enough, it’s a battle.”

“Your 3 months,” Burgess began his tribute. “3 months of watching you grow, being in awe of you, and experiencing a love I’ve never known.” The dancer spoke about becoming a mother calling it the “coolest thing” she’s ever done.
She ended the heartbreaking tribute, writing, “Wonder, love, fear, sleepless nights, and memories. I’m the luckiest Mama in all the land.”
