Late last year, the actress discussed her mental health on Oxford University’s LOAF podcast, as previously reported by The Blast. “During filming, I was deteriorating,” he continued. “It was a very torturous place for me because my character was very isolated, very isolated, alone in this horrible situation.”
“When I went into the hospital a week after filming ‘Bridgerton’ Season 1, it was really closed and kept on the down low because the show was going out,” he explained. “By the time the show came out, I had just gotten out of the hospital, my Instagram followers were growing, I had all these engagements to do… My life had changed drastically overnight and there was still no support and there was still no support during that time. So I try really hard to act like it’s ok and I can work and it’s not a problem.”
