Fans have been accusing pop star Britney Spears of using AI for a while now, most notably in a video where it looks like her teeth are missing right out of her mouth.
On Friday night, the “Toxic” singer finally admitted to using a face filter, as many fans suspected. However, it appears she didn’t use any filters in the two photos she shared alongside her lengthy caption, which featured her posing with her longtime manager Cade Hudson for two seemingly intimate shots.

On Friday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share two photos of her posing for a selfie with her longtime manager, Cade Hudson. Apparently the two snapped this photo on a recent trip to Mexico, as she said it was in a “beautiful” location before she admitted it was tough going through a divorce while reflecting on her memoir, “The Woman In Me” which hits shelves on the 24 October. Iranian actor Sam Asghari, 29, filed for divorce from the 41-year-old pop star, citing “irreconcilable differences” in court documents obtained by The Blast.
“I am in such a beautiful location !!! I am so lucky to have amazing friends!!! Positive affirmations are important to me right now!!!” she wrote in the caption. “I say this because I’m going through a divorce and having to reflect my past in a book is … let’s just say it’s not easy !!! i’m just saying!!! But I am taking it one day at a time learning to breathe!!! Self love is very important!!! I woke up and just cried because I felt grateful to be in such a beautiful place!!!”

Britney then turned to the “relationship” between her life and Instagram, calling the social media platform “addiction.” He went on to say that he wouldn’t stop if he didn’t take himself too seriously before apparently admitting to using FaceTune and other “apps” to upgrade his looks. However, the Pop Princess thinks it’s not hurting anyone, so why does it matter if she decides to use a filter or not?
“Then I thought about my relationship between my life and Instagram at the moment!!! Let’s get this straight!!! It’s addictive … but in my personal opinion, the moment you start taking yourself too seriously is when people stop !!!” he wrote on Friday night. “Hey, I haven’t promoted FaceTune all my life but seriously when I’m depressed these days I look and see a new app and it makes me feel stupid!!! I was like wow this is awesome!!! I see things in a brighter way and so what if it is improved !!!”

“I’m just trying to understand people who say they’re not into it!!! Yet they fully defend for some reason making accusations and downplaying them by saying all the pictures are fake and everything has been doctored!!!” he continued. “Nothing is true…honestly who cares!!! If you are so entitled and perfect why should you care if someone is experimenting with an app on their phone ??? Why mention it??? If you are much better than that ??? But are you??? Come on!!!”
Britney ended the post, writing, “I love my best friend!!!” apparently referring to Cade Hudson, who was pictured with her. Comments on Instagram posts have been disabled, but X, formerly known as Twitter, is still full of concern over Britney’s past knife dance videos to comment on her recent admission.
Britney’s Knife Dancing Video Goes Viral
On Monday, the pop star posted a video of her dancing with two knives. Although he assured his fans that they were fake, the clink of the knives as he hit them against each other made many fans think they were real.
“I started playing in the kitchen with knives today ??♀️??♀️??♀️ !!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is coming soon ??? !!!” he wrote in the caption.
Fans will have to swipe to see the next video, which features her dancing with bandages on her arms, cuts on her legs and bruises on her lower back.
It’s not clear how he got these injuries, but he didn’t refer to them in his caption. However, he encouraged his followers to “swipe” to see the video.
On Tuesday night, she told her followers to “??? Lighten up about the knife I imitated Shakira ? !!!”
The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer performed with a knife at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12.
Finally, on Thursday night, Britney doubled down on her claim that the knife was fake after local law enforcement officers conducted a medical examination on the pop star on Wednesday night.
“I know I scared everyone with the last post, but this is a fake knife that my team rented from the Hand Prop store in LA. This is not a real knife,” he wrote in the caption of this dancing video. “Nobody needs to worry or call the police. I tried to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance that inspired me !!! Congratulations to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks ??????!”
