Just hours after the “Special Ops: Lioness” actress filed for divorce, Britney took to Instagram to announce her intention to buy two horses that she wants to name Sophie and Roar.
It’s unclear if she’s adopted the ponies yet, but she did adopt an adorable new puppy named Snow!

On Wednesday evening, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to show off a “new edition” to her family: a puppy named Snow.
“Introducing Snow … a new edition to the family … it’s her world and we just live in it !!!” she wrote in the caption, revealing that her new pet dog is a girl.

It’s unclear how long Britney actually had Snow. The 29-year-old actress filed for divorce on August 16, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
However, according to court documents obtained by The Blast, he listed July 28, 2023, as the separation date.

On Monday, a photo of Sam Asghari walking the couple’s Doberman, Porsha, surfaced online, leading to concerns about who gets custody of each dog.
Just a month after their engagement in September 2021, the actor surprised Britney with Porsha. “My fiancé was surprised [sic] with our newest member of the Family. Porsha,” he wrote in the caption of the Instagram video at the time. “Her name is Porsha and she means to love you unconditionally,” he continued, adding that the dog will be “trained to protect you from any mother who comes around you with bad intentions.”
A few months later, in February 2022, the couple went on vacation to Maui, Hawaii. While there, the “Break The Ice” singer fell in love with an Australian Shepherd puppy named Sawyer and his icy blue eyes.

“Ouch…. Can you have two loves in your life because he is second !!!! I’m introducing a new edition to my family … his name is Sawyer and he’s a white Australian shepherd with blue eyes !!!!!” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post at the time.
“I found him in Maui like a dream and took him home with me immediately. It’s funny … he doesn’t talk back but it’s like he understands what I’m saying!!!” Britney wrote at the time. “I think he understands me, especially with those eyes…he makes my heart melt…he needs me and I love that!!!”
On Friday, a source told the Daily Mail that Britney did not want to give up any of her dogs in the divorce. “About [Britney and Sam’s shared] property, the hardest part of dividing any asset is their two dogs,” an insider told the outlet. “But Sam gave Porsha to Britney as a gift and she was the one who wanted to adopt Sawyer when they were in Maui.”

In addition to Sawyer and Porscha, the source stated that Britney also has a Maltese puppy named Lulu and a cat named Wendy.
On Tuesday evening, TMZ reported that the former couple had reached an agreement on how to split custody of their five dogs. Sam reportedly gained custody of their Doberman, Porsha, last week, and will retain custody of her full-time.
Although this disappointed some fans who stated that the Doberman puppy had been a gift to the pop star, she will be allowed to keep her four other dogs: her Australian Shepherd, Sawyer, her Yorkie, Hannah, Maltese, Lulu, and another small dog. It’s unclear whether Snow, the dog she finally introduced to Instagram a day later, was included in their custody agreement. The report also made no mention of Britney’s cat.
