“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” he wrote. “We will hold on to the love and respect we have for each other and I wish him the best. Sh*t happens. Asking for privacy apparently [ridiculous] so I would just ask everyone including the media to be kind and considerate.”

Sam popped the question in September 2021, just before his 13-year conservatorship was denied by a judge in November 2021. The two tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at the ranch Thousand Oaks in Los Angeles, California, in June 2022.
A day after Sam took to Instagram to share her statement, the “Mind Your Business” singer took to Instagram to share a video featuring her dancing in a black top, black boots and bright green bikini bottoms. In the caption, she reflected on their six-year relationship and admitted that she was “a little shocked” to see it end.
