Singer Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, may be separated for a little over a year since they first tied the knot at their Thousand Oaks ranch in June 2022.
Their relationship was plagued by rumors of trouble almost immediately. In addition to claims that they both live in separate homes, the two were photographed without their wedding rings earlier this year. Britney also deleted her Valentine’s Day tribute to the actor and claimed that her husband thought she had gone “on a rampage” over her newfound love of meditation.
However, it seems the infidelity accusations may be the reason the two may call it quits.

On Wednesday, reports surfaced that the “Mind Your Business” singer and former personal trainer may be headed in different directions. A source told TMZ that Sam confronted his wife about rumors that she was unfaithful to him.
This will come as news to fans, who have repeatedly expressed concern that the pop star is spending too much time dancing in her living room since her conservatorship ends in November 2021. It’s unclear if there is any truth to the rumours; however, it seems that Sam trusts her and the two reportedly had a huge argument.

After the two married, Britney bought a mansion in a nearby neighborhood; however, he didn’t like it and ended up selling it at a loss earlier this year. It’s unclear where Sam currently lives, as a source told the outlet that Sam has moved out and is now living alone. The source claims that “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
It is not clear if the two will actually separate more than a year after they tied the knot. Britney reportedly had a prenup to protect her assets, but it’s still unclear if the argument will actually go that far. The two began dating in 2016 after she appeared in the “Slumber Party” music video and he popped the question in September 2021, a few months before his conservatorship ended.

In December 2022, fans were understandably concerned for the pop star after she admitted to crying in her car in a since-deleted Instagram post. The “Toxic” singer didn’t hold back in her lengthy caption, writing, “I’m the reflection of that b—- now ??♀️… my husband hates it … he thinks I’m crazy.”
He said that he was “too sensitive” and admitted, “If anything goes wrong in the house it’s like the world has ended.” It’s not clear if she had another argument with Sam, as she later said that she got into his car, which she referred to as her “spaceship” and was “crying really bad.”
“So I got in my car yesterday and I cried … I cried so d— hard but oh man, my car is my spaceship ? … that’s where I have my best interests, thoughts, creative impulses, ideas, that’s spiritual … true -truly spiritual and we’re all in this together on the road,” he wrote at the time.

As he came out, he felt hungry, and admitted that he “forgot to eat last night.” He headed to Jack In The Box and felt that the employee at the drive-thru window gave him “pity” even though he felt that he couldn’t tell that he had been crying.
‘Well …………… I cried in the car … but no one could tell, only me … my face still looked normal … I was fine, but then there was … this big guy at the glass window?… he gave I LOVE IT!!! EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!!!” she wrote.

In May 2022, a new TV show called “Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom” opened up a bit more about Britney’s relationship with the actress, calling her behavior “erratic” and stating that their relationship had turned physical. According to TMZ:
“We’re told Britney has gotten physical with Sam and shouting matches often occur. We were also informed that the situation had become so volatile, security had to take over. Our source says Sam doesn’t stay at their house much anymore and it’s very worrying because of how dependent he is on her.”
Despite the reports, the couple tried to put on a brave face on social media, sharing photos and videos of the two of them together. However, in March, they were photographed without their wedding rings. At the time, a representative for Sam insisted that their marriage was still going strong and that she had only taken off her ring for a film role. No word on why Britney will be releasing hers.
Neither Sam nor Britney have commented on the possible split on social media; however, Sam said that she is taking a break from social media to care for her mother after she had a “major accident” that landed her in the emergency room.
