Britney Spears is in trouble with the law for driving again, and this time it’s after being pulled over by the California Highway Patrol.
The 41-year-old pop princess was previously pulled over by the highway patrol for driving at an “unsafe speed” last year. More than a year later, the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer was just pulled over and ticketed for driving without a license or proof of insurance in her car.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the “Toxic” singer was arrested by the CHP and pulled over for driving without a license or insurance in his car on September 10, 2023.
It’s unclear why the pop star was initially stopped, but according to police, he was driving without a valid license in his possession and was cited for “failure to provide proof of financial responsibility to a peace officer.”
Of course, this is not an arrestable offense — and he was just fined $1,140 by the California Highway Patrol and must pay by October 24, 2023, which is also his court date.
Ironically, that date, two weeks from today, is also the day her highly anticipated memoir, “The Woman In Me” is scheduled to be released. Luckily, the pop star didn’t actually have to be physically present in court that day.
We’re guessing Britney’s driver’s license IS valid, she just doesn’t have it in the vehicle. Furthermore, the singer must have insurance, but it must be in the car while he is driving. His lawyer has to bring the evidence of both to the court hearing.
This Is Not The First Time Britney Has Been Pulled

As The Blast previously reported in April 2022, the “Baby One More Time” singer was caught driving at an “unsafe speed for current conditions.” He was ticketed on March 10, 2022, and had to appear in a courtroom to face charges on May 3. The document did not say how fast he was driving or where he was arrested.
However, it is known that he has been ticketed for speeding several times over the past few years. In June 2019, for example, he was also arrested by the Venture County Sheriff’s Department for driving at an “unsafe speed” again. Although her driving privileges were revoked during her conservatorship, which runs from February 2008 to November 2021, it seems Britney is happy to be on the road again, despite the charges she may face.

In September 2023, the same month her latest driving violation occurred, the “Girl In The Mirror” singer told her 42 million Instagram followers that she recently bought a new car and got a new assistant amid her split from actor Sam Asghari, who filed for divorce on August 16, 2023.
“Driving in my new car with my new assistant !!!” she captioned the Instagram post, which was deleted within hours. It seems the pop star often seeks refuge in her car and detailed how much she loves driving in another deleted 2022 Instagram post.
In December 2022, the “Womanizer” singer said that the “Special Ops: Lioness” actress accused her of being “stupid” for her newfound love of meditation. “I’m the meditation b—– now ??♀️… my husband doesn’t like it … he thinks I’m crazy. My masseuse always does it and she looks so calm … I’m like wow … looks interesting,” she wrote at the time.

“Falling deep into myself … I’m saying all this because I’m trying to take care of myself,” he continued. “Usually I forget to eat … I wait too long and I’m too sensitive so if anything goes wrong at home, it’s like the world has come to an end.”
“So, I got in my car yesterday and I cried … I cried really, really hard, but oh man, my car is my spaceship ? … that’s where I have my interests, thoughts, creative impulses, ideas, spiritual … completely spiritual and we. “It’s all in this together on the road,” he continued.
He went on to say, “So I don’t feel alone unless that big 18-wheeler comes and rips down the road and I want to s— on me … but it’s time … my own inner thoughts.”
