Singer Britney Spears has finally broken her silence amid claims that she was consuming too much caffeine and staying awake for days at a time.
The 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon to reveal that, while she’s not really into meditation anymore, she’s started practicing ballet.

The “Hold Me Closer” singer started her Instagram post with a quote she got from @doyouremember_ig. The quote reads, “In every relationship there are people who fall asleep instantly and others who wake up wondering how it could have happened.”
In the caption, Britney wrote, “I’m sharing because summer is almost here [sic] and I’m sweating like there’s no tomorrow ? !!! Not to get in shape but I love to sweat!!! I feel like I accomplished something, you know???”

In a previous Instagram post, Britney revealed that she’s started working out again, although she’s definitely not a fan! However, the singer’s fans know how much Britney loves to dance and she revealed that she actually started taking ballet.
“I just started ballet lessons ? and it’s really different … keeping my head up is not always easy if your confidence level isn’t that high !!!” he explained. “I do a little exercise because I don’t like it for a long time … I know meditation in yoga is good but I’m sorry I’m not really interested at the moment !!!”

Although the “Toxic” singer has been very interested in meditating for the past few months, it looks like she’s taking a break to try something new! However, something fans have noticed that is not new on her Instagram page are many pictures and videos of the pop star dancing or just standing in her yard. Luckily, Britney has an explanation for why she shares so many old recordings.
“I reposted a lot of footage because it’s good to step back when a lot has happened and look back and realize it makes sense now!!!” he wrote. “My mind gets busy and sometimes that can be an easy target to mess with ? …. Anyway, I stick to watermelon juice, which is the weirdest thing but I was told for years I can’t drink coffee and now I can it’s my pride… I can’t see it!!! And green tea ? is my precious !!!”

Britney often posted about how she wasn’t allowed to have coffee during her conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021. She then addressed allegations of “excessive” caffeine consumption that had been swirling around the Internet.
“You clever little ?? … Sorry but I never stay up all night with Red Bull !!! It’s literally the worst drink ever … I make jewelry, candles and doll clothes … Okay, so what???” he wrote. “I might lose but I do what makes me feel most alive and gives me interest but I don’t like people in the media bullying me and saying hateful things … I want to check some of my fans !!! On Wednesday, TMZ reported that the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer consumed the caffeine drink “by the gallon.” An insider told the outlet that Britney consumes coffee, Red Bull, Celsius, and dandelion tea “almost non-stop.” They also said that he had been awake for three days from excessive caffeine consumption.
The outlet claims that experts say that this is “not surprising for people with mental illness.” Dr. Drew told TMZ that while it’s not “particularly healthy” to drink too much caffeine, people who “suffer from mental illness crave a high from this drink.”

TMZ has created a new special called “Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom” that will air Monday, May 15, at 9pm ET on Fox. The special will focus on the year and a half of Britney’s life since she was released from her controversial conservatorship.
