It seems that the feud between Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears is heating up.
Although the pop star apologized to the “Cry Me A River” actress twice for what she wrote about him in her memoir, and even went out of her way to tell her fans that she loved her new song, Justin said that he had “no one” to ask sorry on Wednesday night, prompting a quick response from Britney on Thursday afternoon.

On January 31, “The Social Network” appeared to address the alleged feud between him and Britney Spears by taking the stage and saying, “I want to take this opportunity to apologize to anybody.” This comes just days after Britney said she loved her new song, “Selfish,” in a now-deleted Instagram post.
“I want to apologize for some of the things I wrote in my book. If I offend any of the people I really care about, I’m so sorry… I also want to say I’m in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish,’” she wrote in the caption. “It’s so good and why is it that every time I see Justin and Jimmy together, I laugh out loud??? Ps ‘Sanctified’ is also wow.”

On Thursday afternoon, Britney took to Instagram to call out her ex. “Someone told me someone was talking s— about me in the street !!! Do you want to take him to court or will you go home crying to your mother like you did last time ??? I have no regrets!!!” he wrote in the caption.
She took to Instagram again soon after, showing off a photo of a red rose. “Be careful how you handle your cards when you have the queen of hearts,” he wrote in the caption of this post. Comments on both posts, like most of his recent posts, have been disabled.

In a since-deleted Instagram post from December 2023, Britney quipped that Justin would cry when he beat her at basketball.
“Psss I never mentioned how I beat him in basketball ? and he’s going to cry … no respect ??♀️??♀️??♀️ !!!” he wrote at the time. Although he didn’t call Justin by name, Justin had said “disrespect” the night before during an hour-long set at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas opener. He famously told the crowd “No disrespect” before launching his 2002 single, “Cry Me A River.”
More than a year ago, on January 17, 2023, Britney also shared a photo of her and Justin wearing matching basketball uniforms to Instagram. Inside post since deletedBritney wrote, “Whenever we shoot a loop TOGETHER … that’s when magic happens!!!”
He then added, “I came out of my mother’s womb just like all of us!!! Psss … why do you always dump me??? I am the same as everyone else!!!”
Britney Details Unplanned Pregnancy In Her Memoir

Amid the infidelity allegations, Britney also detailed an unplanned pregnancy she and Justin navigated in 2000. She said that while she wanted a family with “The Social Network” actor, she “didn’t want to be a father” at the time.
“It’s a shock, but for me, it’s not a tragedy. I love Justin so much. I always hope we have a family together one day. This will be sooner than I expected,” he wrote in his memoirs. “But Justin is definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young.”
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it was left up to me, I wouldn’t do it. But Justin was so adamant that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”
