Singer Britney Spears did not perform at Glastonbury with Sir Elton John on Sunday night as many fans expected.
“Britney” started trending on Sunday afternoon after it was rumored that the 41-year-old pop star would perform “Hold Me Closer” with the “Rocket Man” singer; however, nothing was confirmed and fans found themselves disappointed when he did not appear.
It is unclear whether Britney herself was actually aware of the rumors that she would be performing. She’s quite active on Instagram, sharing Justin Bieber videos, diamond pics, and videos of her dancing in a bikini.

On Sunday night, the “Gimme More” singer shared a video on Instagram in which she danced in a short-sleeved brown crop top that tied in the back.
He also had a thin scarf tied around his neck.

She wore bright green bikini bottoms along with pointed black boots as she danced around her living room, showing off her sun-kissed tan.
Britney wrote her caption in Spanish: “Edición diferente a la de ayer !!! PS SONIDO !!!” which can be translated as “Different edition from yesterday !!! PS SOUND!!!”
He later shared Justin Bieber’s “Honest” video featuring Don Toliver. The video shows the Canadian pop star shirtless by the pool.
In the caption, Britney identified herself as a fan of the singer, writing, “I love the song !!! ???.”
Earlier on Sunday, she shared a photo of Diamond Peach, though fans weren’t sure what she meant.
Despite this, Britney loves to share the art she loves on Instagram.

Fans were very disappointed that Britney did not perform at Glastonbury as they had hoped.
