On Friday night, Britney Spears finally announced her breakup with Iranian actor Sam Asghari on Instagram.
The two began dating in 2016 after meeting on the set of his “Slumber Party” music video. The two tied the knot in June 2022, but just fourteen months later, the actress filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Despite reports that Britney has been feeling “in great spirits” amid the divorce, she doesn’t look like her usual self in pictures taken on Friday night.

“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone, so, I’m a little surprised but … I’m not here to explain why because it’s really nobody’s business !!!” he wrote on Friday night. “But, I can’t take the pain anymore to be honest!!! In some kind of telepathic way I have received so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I am grateful!!!”

“I’ve been playing hard for too long and my Instagram may look perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!!! I want to show my emotions and tears about how I really feel but [for] for some reason I always have to hide my weakness !!!” he continued.
“So I will be as strong as I can and do my best!!! And I actually did pretty well!!! Anyway have a great day and don’t forget to smile!!!” he concluded, indicating that he was in a good mood despite his divorce and alleged infidelity.

Unfortunately, it looks like the divorce may be taking a toll on her, even though she’s trying to put on a brave face. On Saturday afternoon, the Daily Mail shared a photo of the Pop Princess leaving Dave’s Hot Chicken in Oxnard, California, around midnight on Friday, August 18.
The pop star was seen leaving the restaurant with raspberry lemonade in hand. His security forces were not far behind. Britney did not hide her eyes behind her usual sunglasses. Instead, she wore her blonde hair and discarded her bra under an off-the-shoulder sweater. She kept her look casual with black jean shorts and open toe sandals.

On Friday evening, an insider told People magazine that the “Stronger” singer is staying positive amid the divorce.
They said that divorce “is never an easy thing to go through, but she remains positive and focused on the future.” They went on to add that it was “in great spirit despite everything,” adding that the couple decided to “get on with it a few weeks ago.”

In the divorce filing obtained by The Blast, the actor lists July 28, 2023, as the separation date. He also asked for spousal support and attorney fees.
On Wednesday night, a source told Page Six that the 29-year-old actress was reportedly “trying to negotiate concessions outside of her prenup and threatening to reveal very embarrassing information about Britney unless she was paid.”

However, on Thursday night, the actor’s representative, Brandon Cohen, denied the allegations.
“There have been numerous allegations that Sam challenged the prenup and threatened to exploit his ex-wife with videos,” his rep told The Hollywood Reporter. “However, all these allegations are false, as no negative intentions have ever been directed at him and will never happen. On Thursday afternoon, a source told Page Six that she is “focusing” on releasing a new album around the same time her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” hits stores on October 24, 2023.
“Ideally, he’d love to do a recording and maybe a song for the book release,” said one source, while another shared that “He has an upcoming writer’s camp and got songs from some big artists.”
