His childhood friend, however, saw something a little different. She has insisted that they got married because they were truly “in love” despite what the “Toxic” singer wrote in her memoir.

“I don’t remember that night at all, but from what I gather, he and I lounged around the hotel room and stayed up late watching movies — Mona Lisa Smile and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre — then had a great idea. went to A Little White Chapel at 3:30 in the morning,” he continued. “When we got there, another couple was getting married, so we had to wait. Yes — we’re waiting in line to get married.”

“The next day, my whole family flew to Vegas. They appeared and stared at me with these angry eyes. I looked around. ‘What happened yesterday?’ I am asking. ‘Did I kill someone?’” he wrote. “‘Are you married!’ they said, as if it could be worse.”

“They make too big a deal out of innocent pleasure. Everyone has a different perspective on it, but I don’t take it seriously. I think a stupid wedding in Vegas is something people probably do as a joke,” he continued in a quote transcribed by Us Weekly. “Then my family came and acted like I had started World War III. I cried the whole time I was in Las Vegas. ‘I’m guilty!’ I said. ‘I am sorry. I shouldn’t be married.’”

The day after his memoir was released, Jason told TMZ that he and Britney were really in love when they got married and insisted that they didn’t drink at all. However, it contradicts his own 2012 interview with ABC News, where he revealed that they had a “party” that night. When asked if the “party favors” contained drugs, Jason replied, “Alcohol is a drug. Coffee is a drug. [A] cigarettes are drugs. Yes, we use drugs.”

Jason Has Hunted Britney Pretty Hard On Instagram

In an Instagram post, Jason shared a photo of a rose, his favorite flower. “If roses are red and so is reality, why is Britney’s book full of untrue little white lies?” he wrote above the video.

“Words are cheap when they are written for money,” he added in the caption.

In another Instagram post, set to the song “Remember This,” he shared a throwback photo of the two together and directly addressed Britney’s admission that she only married him because she was “bored.”

“When I was with Britney in 2000 at Laura Lynne’s apartment… oh yeah we were bored then too,” he wrote along with the hashtags #losers, #liars and #contracts.

“Yeah, Britney and I just hate each other and we don’t remember anything and we’re not self-aware here,” she wrote along with some laughing face emojis and the hashtags #whateversells, #sellouts, #greed, and #losers.

Although ghostwriter Sam Lansky has helped many Hollywood stars such as Madonna and Adele write their own memoirs, Jason thinks that he may have distorted the truth, especially regarding his story.

“Thank you so much, Sam Lansky, for your ‘really’ words – I mean, ‘Britney’s book’ … I love it when everything is a lie. Where did the book money go?” he asked along with the hashtag #liesformoney.

In the caption of this Instagram post, she wrote, “Written by… #goodtry,” as if implying that Britney didn’t write her own book.

Jason returned to Instagram to claim that Britney didn’t write her own book. “Where is all the Money ???? Don’t you think the book should be about who, where, and why?? …Not old news about selective people like me, to try to slander, slander, and distract,” she wrote in the caption.

“When I saw the Times magazine article (where Sam Lansky was the editor) about what ‘Britney’ had to say about our marriage, I knew ? percent this book would not be about justice for Britney or name the real criminals involved like: family court and judges , Lou Taylor and his many companies involved in stealing money, Larry Rudolph, Cade Hudson, Michael Kane, Jeff Beacher, George Maloof Jr., Jeffery Ross, Jeff Raymond, Robin Greenhill, Kevin Federline, Jamie Spears , and the rest of Britney’s family and friends others,” he continued.

He concluded, “The book also does not show how they used his children and many other issues to put him in conservatorship for 13 years and steal his money. I knew, then, that the book was about making money for the brand. What do you think: Is Britney living her best life? Free and responsible…?”
