The video shows a young girl upset after being splashed with broken eggs in a bowl. The video has been posted to Britney’s account several times in the past, and on Monday night, she finally opened up about why the video meant so much to her, as she saw something “darker” in what was meant to be a lighthearted video.

On Monday night, the “Toxic” singer shared another take on the video, which she credited to @girlrewind. The text above the video reads “That’s not good,” repeating what the little girl said in the video. After the two women on either side of her break eggs in a bowl and splash the eggs on her face, the girl takes her own egg and smashes it into the woman’s face to break it.
While she has posted this video without saying anything in the past, this time, Britney has a longer caption. He wrote: “REPOST … IF SHE WOULD JUST LOOK THE SH*T OUT OF THEM ??… STAY CLASSY PEOPLE ?? !!!! Psss no one laughs when he does it back to them ? … well they laugh here but what if I show up there ???”

Later that night, the “Mind Your Business” singer posted the video to her Instagram Stories. In the next slide, he left a longer statement for his followers to read. “I’m not complaining about this video … it’s actually really cute but without sound it has a different effect !!!” he started
“For me, it feels darker… the same thing has been done to me so I see this with different eyes!!!” he explained. “Most of my internal conflict with people is knowing the enemy is right in front of me but I keep it because I love them!!!”
“I am very sensitive to anyone who laughs at someone or bullies in any way!!!” he wrote. “There are so many things I keep secret that happen to me personally and maybe one day I can tell people … until then, there are 3 sides to every story !!! Your side, my side, and the truth!!!”
“The child inside is trust, the girl in the middle is the truth … watch NOW without sound !!!” he concluded, urging his followers to give the video another viewing with a different perspective in mind.
