Pop star Britney Spears reportedly has no plans to reconnect with her estranged father, Jamie Spears, despite health complications.
While several reports have indicated that the 42-year-old pop star plans to reconnect with her father amid his declining health, it appears that the rumors are untrue.

Although Britney has reconnected with her mother, Lynne Spears, her brother, Bryan Spears, and even her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, it seems that she has no plans to reconnect with her father despite his declining health.
In September, Jamie underwent surgery to try to clear up an infection caused by a knee replacement that took place more than a decade ago. Unfortunately, according to TMZ, he ended up spending weeks in the hospital, and, after five unsuccessful surgeries, he had to have his leg amputated.
Although she is in a weak state, sources told Page Six that, contrary to previous reports, the “Toxic” singer has absolutely no plans to reconnect with her father because of the alleged abuse she suffered during her 13 years as a conservator, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021.

In her memoir, Britney seems to place some of the blame on her mother and other family members for not helping her out of conservatorship sooner. A source told the publication that Britney is “still hurting because she feels like her mother could have done more to help her” at a time when she needed it most.

A second source stated that “getting together and celebrating his birthday was a really good moment for the family.” Jamie Lynn Spears was reportedly also invited to Britney’s birthday party, but she was unable to attend, as she was filming a TV show overseas at the time.
