Singer Britney Spears returned to Instagram early Monday afternoon with a brand new dance video.
The 41-year-old pop star wore a long-sleeved ripped black top that looked perfect for October along with cheetah print trousers. He shuffled around in black boots, showing the bandages on his toes.

In her latest Instagram post shared on Monday evening, the “Toxic” singer danced around her living room and spun around. The Christmas tree that was the background of his last two videos is gone, replaced by a lot of material on the floor that looks like wrapping paper.
Although she wore different clothes and changed the background a bit, she still set the video to Beyoncé’s hit song “Daddy Lessons.” In the caption of this Instagram post, he teased that he wants to remix the song with Jay-Z.
“A lot of people have remixed my song without my knowledge… so I think it’s safe to say I’ll be remixing this song eventually ? !!!” she wrote in the caption. “Just got to meet Jay-Z and add a rap to it … what’s up???”
While she usually turns off comments on her Instagram posts, she left them on for this one and fans had mixed reactions to her latest video.
Fans Can’t Get Past The Used Bandaids On The Floor!
Many fans take a moment to comment that they are “here” before they turn off comments. Other fans hope Britney will capitalize on her collaborations with more artists. “Can this happen!!! You should do it with Beyoncé,” one follower wrote.
Another follower was upset by yet another dancing video. “So sad and talented and he ended up in his living room dancing in his underwear. I don’t understand,” wrote one user. However, many Britney fans were quick to defend her.
“I’m dancing in my underwear so what’s the problem???” a follower asked. “He spent years dancing on stage in his underwear, why can’t he dance in the comfort of his own home?” another user chimed in. “It’s not for you to get. Leave him,” shared another fan. “It’s called self-expression dance. It helps mental health in many ways. A lot of people do,” another follower chimed in.

Other followers are concerned that Britney may have cut herself while she danced with the knife again. “Did you cut your finger with a knife?” one user asked. “Peep the dirty Band-Aid on the floor,” wrote another follower. “I thought the same thing,” another fan agreed.
“It’s a used Band-Aid on the floor for me,” another follower wrote in a separate comment. “My exact thoughts,” wrote another fan. “Just a knife dancing accident. No big deal,” another follower chimed in with a laughing face emoji. “I saw it too. Try not to look at it,” another fan admitted while another user questioned why there was so much “junk” on the floor.
Some fans feel that it might be better if Britney tries to express her feelings in other ways. “He’s bored. He has nothing else to do. He needs a new hobby,” commented another follower. “This is his hobby,” another fan replied. “And what other hobby do you want because he’s been stuck in his house for 20 years,” another follower clapped.
While some fans expressed interest in watching Britney return to the music world, not everyone believes that is a possibility. “I don’t think a record label would take the risk of signing him. I think that’s why he only does collaborations with other artists who can release songs on their labels. Signing with a label would require contractual obligations that I don’t think Britney would commit to (touring, appearances, etc.),” said one user.
Fans hope they can see another side of Britney when her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” is released on October 24, 2023.
