The pop star, who turns 42 on Saturday, December 2, kicked off her birthday with a bang, as she was forced to leave the birthday party early to look after her dog, who reportedly had a medical emergency.

On Friday night, Britney Spears was set to celebrate her birthday with her manager, Cade Hudson, and her brother, Bryan Spears, when her dog had a medical emergency.
It was unclear which dog had a medical emergency. On August 16, Sam Asghari filed for divorce from the pop star. Just two weeks later, the two finalized a custody agreement between their five dogs. Sam is allowed to keep Porsha, the Doberman puppy he gave her as an engagement gift, while Britney keeps four other dogs. A day later, she introduced her Instagram followers to Snow, a small white dog who has appeared in many of the pop star’s latest photos and videos.

Around 2am on Saturday, Britney, Bryan and Cade were spotted leaving Cade’s house in a car together. A photo tells TMZ that one of Britney Spear’s dogs was in the car and the group rushed to the 24-hour veterinary clinic. The dog was never photographed, but is believed to have been brought into the clinic.
The group then went to a convenience store gas station located on the Sunset Strip. Cade was photographed leaving the store barefoot in his pajamas, so it seems like a sudden emergency if he didn’t have time to get dressed.

The group then returned to the vet and stayed there for some time before they left. It’s unclear if they took the dog home with them or if the dog is still at the vet.
At this time, it is not known why the dog required medical attention.
