Singer Britney Spears had her memoir “The Woman In Me” mocked on last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” but her manager, Cade Hudson, was quick to defend her.
In addition to calling out the “SNL” writers, Cade also took aim at comedian Chloe Fineman, who played the “Toxic” singer in the parody. In an Instagram comment, he was quick to say that he was “not funny” while slamming the skit.

In an Instagram comment posted on Sunday, Cade Hudson defended Britney Spears when she mentioned the “SNL” skit about her memoir, “The Woman In Me.”
“Wow. The @SNL writers are getting worse,” Cade Hudson wrote on Instagram. “No wonder you guys are calling me to get Britney on the show… snl is on life support. You all are pathetic and Chloe this is not funny. Did you find it on Craiglist or something?”
In the three-minute skit, Chloe shed light on the release of her memoir while giving fans a “sneak peek” at celebrity auditions for the book’s voiceover, which included readings from Allison Janney (Heidi Gardner), Martin Scorcese (Timothée Chalamet), John Mulaney (Sarah Sherman), Fred Schneider (Bowen Yang) B52s and Jada Pinkett Smith (Ego Nwodim).

A user took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to slam last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live,” which was the first episode after the SAG-AFTRA strike.
“Shame on #SNL,” wrote one user. “Everything [about] last night’s episode was disgusting. First, Timothée made fun of the #IsraelPalestineWar, then they made fun of Britney Spear’s memoir #TheWomanInMe as if she didn’t suffer enough. F— #SaturdayNightLive.”
Britney Spears Speaks Out About Bullying In Deleted Instagram Post

In an Instagram post that the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer published and later deleted earlier this week, she opened up about bullying and admitted that she was “scared” of some of the people who lived around her in Los Angeles.
“I did research on bullying and mistreated kids in school…it’s pretty interesting what I found!!!” he wrote in a lengthy caption. “I have probably studied human emotions more than anyone on the planet and have been the person studied and analyzed like a science lab against my will so I find this very incredible looking at the data!!!”
“We all have our inner subconscious thoughts and some are better suited to hide those emotions or weaknesses!!!” he continued. “Most of them live in Los Angeles they are called actors and actresses … and unfortunately I was never that good at acting but you can guarantee I can spot a mile away !!! They sent shivers down my spine almost as much as one would feel if they saw a real criminal!!!”

“I held onto my heart and I had to learn the hard way … but I know what it’s like to feel tormented … bullied … and completely humiliated,” Britney wrote. “I’m talking about this because the main thing I find interesting about this is that when it comes to emotions, there’s really no explaining it!!! It’s honestly beautiful but the abuse on top of it… that’s where it gets more serious!!! Is it big deal??? 100 percent it is a big deal!!!”
“The thing I find most disturbing is that out of all the bullying I have researched, most of the victims are the ones who hurt themselves !!! I actually find that very interesting because you would think that the person causing the emotional turmoil is the one who is guilty and wants to take action!!!” he continued. “Even though some of the victims actually killed themselves, the person who got away with it never showed any sign of remorse!!! I believe that person is an actor and lives in Los Angeles!!!”
