Lynne Spears, the mother of pop star Britney Spears, is reportedly in fear of her life after falling out with an allegedly “fake” publicist who somehow found their way into her inner circle.
The 68-year-old mother of two still has a rocky relationship with the Princess of Pop, but it looks like someone is trying to reach out to the “Through The Storm” author to reach out to her daughter!

Lynne Spears has filed a lawsuit against Jacob Diamond, who she claims “infiltrated” her inner circle to get close to her and her daughter. Jacob is a self-proclaimed author, actor and publicist, but Lynne blasts him as a “fake” and a “swindler” in a new lawsuit. Jacob has also been accused of pretending to be close to stars like Khloé Kardashian, Lisa Rinna, and Paris Hilton, who are close friends of the pop star.
Lynne, 68, and her friends Jansen Fitz, 40, and Tatum Solis, 48, filed the lawsuit in District Court in Amite, Louisiana. They claim they met Jacon in 2019. According to the lawsuit, Jacob spent “three years or more” working in their “small social circle.”
Things seemed to come to a head in July 2023, when the lawsuit alleges that he “began acting erratically and aggressively” toward them and their children. In one instance, they claim they had to threaten to call the police “to forcefully remove him from their family home.”
They claim that the 41-year-old’s “fake” publicist has been bashing them on social media and painting them in an “extremely negative light” that now has them “fearing for their safety.”
Lynne And Her Friends Have Got A Restraining Order

According to legal documents, Lynne Spears and her friends can get a temporary restraining order against Jacob, which prevents him from “harassing, stalking, communicating” with them. The restraining order was made with the aim of “preventing any harm or injury” to Lynne and her friends. With the restraining order in place, Jacob was not allowed to go within 100 yards of them or their home.
The lawsuit goes on to say that Jacob’s main goal in befriending Lynne and her friends was to get Britney. Jacob, who describes himself as a “boyfriend turned actor turned author” on his LinkedIn profile, has been accused of trying to “infiltrate” his social circle “in an effort to, or in the hope that he will be able to establish a person (sic) relationship with one of the children female plaintiff.”
Although she is not directly named in the lawsuit, the person is assumed to be Britney Spears, as the lawsuit alleges that Jacob was trying to “gain at least some fame and/or notoriety.”

The lawsuit states, “Plaintiff further asserts that defendant was also motivated by the possibility or prospect of financial gain should he be able to develop the personal relationship referred to above,” adding that he had used their “names and images” without social media permission in posts that had became “more aggressive, degrading and defamatory.”
The Daily Mail was the first to report the lawsuit.
Jacob Diamond’s partner, Derek Larabell, has set up a GoFundMe page to fund his attorney fees, but so far, they’ve only reached $510 of their $5,000 goal. It’s unclear why the GoFundMe page was created, as he also claims that Caitlyn Jenner’s attorney contacted him personally to agree to settle the case for free.

“A large law firm in Los Angeles that represents Caitlyn Jenner and other celebrities, heard about her case and contacted her for free. They did a lot of work on his case, but were unable to practice law in Louisiana and represent him,” he wrote. “We found a high-powered attorney in Baton Rouge who has been involved in various Netflix documentaries and will also represent him. He took the opportunity to speak to the media about Jacob’s case and against Lynne Spears, Tatum Solis and Jansen Fitz.”
“Many of us are working hard to #freeBritney and help get her voice back. I am asking for your help to ensure that Jacob is not silenced forever as well,” the appeal continued. “If you could donate $20 or $10 or $5 it would mean the world to us… so Jacob can represent himself in court against Lynne Spears’ attorney.”
On Monday, the case will go before a judge, who will decide whether or not to make the restraining order permanent.
