On Thursday evening, photos emerged of Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, pushing a yellow shopping cart in Britney’s hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.

It’s unclear what the 68-year-old bought, but fans couldn’t help but notice that she also had a designer handbag with her.

In photos obtained by TMZ, she is seen loading her purchases into her white Mercedes before jumping in and driving away.

Lynne Spears Claims She Still Has Britney’s Stuff

In her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” Britney recalls how she visited her mother’s home at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic only to find that some of the valuables she kept there in 2019 had been “discarded,” including a collection of Madame Alexander dolls that beloved, which he received as a child.

He noted that a few years “were worth it [her] writing” and poetry “binders” were also discarded, which led to her decision to separate herself from her family forever. However, on November 9, Lynne took to Instagram to share a photo of some of the items that Britney thought had been discarded.

“I’m not sure who told you I got rid of your doll and journal but I won’t! That would be cruel because I know how much they mean to you. They are also special to me because of the years we spent collecting them,” Lynne wrote in the caption. “Of course, I still have your things, and I’m happy to send them to you if you want me to. Please tell me and know how much I love you!”

On November 11, the “Toxic” singer finally responded to her mother’s comments in an Instagram post that largely focused on the time she met “Love Story” singer Taylor Swift.

“Ps my mom loves you so much, but there were 3 dolls in the cabinet when I came home 2 years ago … kinda weird you would take them out and then put them back … so messed up,” Britney wrote. “No, I don’t want them. Save everything. I honestly don’t care anymore … to be honest.”

A source told the Daily Mail that Lynne began selling Britney’s clothes in 2019 at Connie’s Jewelry and Gifts in Kentwood, Louisiana, which is owned by the family of Britney’s childhood friend Cortney Brabham.

An insider claims that Lynne has “made thousands of dollars in profits easily” and that the “Girl In The Mirror” singer “had no idea” that her mother was selling her stuff. Britney has not responded to claims that her mother has sold Britney’s old clothes and clothes, including a 2011 Femme Fatale white satin jacket.
