The protective order that singer Britney Spears received against her ex-husband, Jason Alexander, will expire on Friday, August 11, 2023 — which could lead to a very dangerous situation.
The two were married for 55 hours in 2004 after eloping in Las Vegas. It’s unclear how much of a relationship the two had until she tried to call off her June 2022 wedding to actor Sam Asghari at their Thousand Oaks home, but he won’t be able to renew it until she tries to contact him again.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, an active “No Contact with” Protective Order in Criminal Proceedings for the victim named Britney Spears was filed on August 11, 2022. The sealed Protective Order is scheduled to expire on Friday, August 11, 2023.
In June 2022, Jason went live on Instagram and approached security outside Britney’s home, claiming the pop star had invited him. After security denies his interest, the two engage in a physical altercation, and his phone goes dead. It’s unclear how he managed to get past security, but he made it into his house, and according to some reports, even made it to his bedroom!
Fortunately, he was unable to see or contact the “Toxic” singer at any time. He was dragged out by security, who were able to detain him until law enforcement officers intervened. A spokesperson for the Venture County Sheriff’s office said that police will remain on the scene for Britney’s wedding, just to make sure the entire event goes smoothly. Fortunately, there were no further incidents.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the pop star’s ex-husband was charged with felony stalking, misdemeanor trespassing, and refusing to leave private property, vandalism and battery days after the wedding. At the time, he pleaded not guilty to all charges, but in August 2022, he was found guilty of trespassing and battery.
Both the “Gimme More” singer and Richard Eubeler, the security guard who confronted her at the wedding, were given three-year restraining orders against her. In a follow-up interview with the Daily Mail, Jason claimed that he broke off the marriage because he didn’t actually believe he was getting married. “This is all for show. Hollywood script,” he said of Britney’s marriage to the former personal trainer. “I don’t think he looks happy. It was all unreal.”
“I can’t allow him to get married with our conversation over the past two years,” he continued. “I’m not there to cause harm. I was just there to Talk to Britney and make sure she was okay, and this is what she wanted.”

As The Blast previously reported, Jason Alexander was arrested last week after he allegedly stalked a woman at the gym, confronted her in front of her son, and then followed her home. According to court documents, Jason reportedly texted a woman he met at the gym and followed her through the gym and into the parking lot.
The unnamed woman claims that Jason confronted her in the parking lot of a LifeTime Fitness gym in Franklin, Tennessee, on June 17. She said that she told Jason to leave her alone, but instead, he reportedly sent her dozens of text messages and even called her several times. One day after she confronted him in the parking lot, the woman claimed Jason drove past her house.

According to legal documents, the woman said she drove by her house, turned around, and then slowly drove past her house again. He also approached her at the pool gym when she was with her son, who was still a minor. Last Wednesday, law enforcement officers arrested the ex-husband of Britney Spears again. It’s unclear if he posted bail, but he is being held on $50,000 bond.
This is far from the first time Jason Alexander has been in trouble with the law. Jason served 128 days in jail after breaking Britney’s wedding, but just months later, he was arrested again for alleged jewelry theft dating back to 2016.
