Singer Britney Spears has been vacationing with her agent Cade Hudson in Mexico, but apparently, she wasn’t just there to sunbathe on the beach.
In fact, sources have revealed that his old manager actually wants the 41-year-old pop star back in the game after releasing his first song in six years last August.
The song, “Hold Me Closer,” featuring Sir Elton John, was well received by fans, but Britney has given fans no indication that she has plans to release any more music.

While the “Toxic” singer seemed to enjoy sharing photos and videos of her trip to Mexico, it seems the trip was a mix of business and pleasure. A source told the Daily Mail that Cade was planning a trip for Britney while her husband, Iranian actor Sam Asghari, was working on a film.
According to a source, Cade wants to see Britney “get back to what she loves to do” and thinks that channeling her creative energy into new music will help her “get back to herself.”
“Cade wants to see Britney get back to doing what she loves to do, because she’s such a talented artist,” the source said. “He knows that he’s still passionate about this.”
“‘She wants to do a career intervention and, at the same time, really help him get back to himself,'” the source continued. “He told her she can’t throw in the towel again and he has reminded her of who she really is.”
“‘Their time together has been very special and relaxed and has been an eye-opener for her, to say the least,’ the insider added, calling Cade “the only person in the world Britney trusts.”
“Working with Britney during her rise to fame is one of Cade’s proudest achievements in life. In the process, he became like family to her,” revealed the source. Britney’s last album was 2016’s “Glory,” released while she was still under her suffocating conservatorship.
The conservatorship finally ended in November 2021. In the final months before a judge overturned the controversial action against Britney, Cade finally threw his support behind the #FreeBritney movement.

“I’ve kept my mouth shut for 12+ years about Britney. Enough is enough,” he wrote at the time (via TMZ). “After getting thousands of death threats, having water bottles thrown at my head in bars from people telling me I’m brainwashed – my Britney is now speaking out.”
Cade called it “Sexism at its finest,” adding, “This is a violation of someone’s human rights that has been taken away. I have kept my mouth shut for fear of losing my job as his agent and losing the career I worked 15 years to build, because threat from a man we all know, but I will win. It is not even dignified to mention his name. I am officially silent.”

“The system and the people let him down,” he wrote. “His new lawyers are the best of the best and know that the work is just beginning but it is progress & hope and that is all we can ask for now until action can be taken.”
