The 41-year-old pop star is known to often deactivate her Instagram account. The last time she deactivated her account was on October 20, just days before the release of her memoir, “The Woman In Me.”

On Saturday morning, fans woke up to find Britney’s Instagram page replaced with a message that read: “Sorry, this page is unavailable. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Back to Instagram.”
One of the last Instagram posts from the pop star was a throwback dance video last April, in which she revealed that she would be “holding back” on her social media. “I may be posting too often so this month I’m holding back and I’ll be posting some past and upcoming posts !!!” Britney wrote in the caption. “It’s April … hope you all have a wonderful week ??? !!!”
However, it looks like the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer returned to Instagram Sunday night with a new video set to one of her own songs!

In a message posted to X and Instagram just days before her memoir’s release, the “Stronger” singer emphasized that her memoir has provided “closure” and hope for a “better future” as she looks forward to a “pretty clean slate” ahead.
“The purpose of my book is not to offend anyone in any way !!! That was me then … that was the past!!!” he started “I don’t like the headlines I read…that’s why I quit the business 4 years ago!!! Most of the books are from 20 years ago … I’ve moved and it’s a pretty clean slate from here!!!”
“I’m here to set it that way for the rest of my life!!!” he continued. “Anyway, that was the last one and s— happened !! This is actually a book that didn’t know to write … although some may be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”

Celebrities such as Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon and Shonda Rhimes have all been rumored to be trying to acquire the rights to Britney’s memoir to turn it into a film or documentary. Reports later indicated that Shonda Rhimes was no longer interested in acquiring the rights to the book, much to the dismay of fans. The mastermind behind “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Bridgerton” wrote the script for Britney’s 2002 film “Crossroads.”
According to The Ankler, the bidding range is somewhere in the “mid-eight-figure range.” Margot Robbie, coming off the success of “Barbie,” is looking to adapt the memoir through her company LuckyChap Productions. Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B Entertainment and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine are also eager to secure the rights to Britney’s memoir, though it seems the pop star is in no rush to adapt her bestseller into a visual medium.
An insider told Page Six that the project is “just starting to take shape” and noted that the “Girl In The Mirror” singer rescheduled a meeting with an unnamed top producer “at the last minute” because she “didn’t feel up to it.” A producer who previously worked with the Princess of Pop told The Ankler that Britney “doesn’t give as— who you are,” adding, “She always is. It’s just Britney.” However, the producers were reportedly “very sympathetic” given the sensitive nature of her memoir.
Britney Spears’ memoir “The Woman In Me” was officially released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
