Pop star Britney Spears has a new car and a new assistant!
It seems the pop star is looking to embrace something new amid her divorce from actor Sam Asghari.
The 29-year-old actress filed for divorce from the 41-year-old pop star on August 16, citing “irreconcilable” differences as the reason for the split.

On Saturday morning, the “Hold Me Closer” singer gave fans a peek inside her car as she adjusted her blonde hair around her face.
She wore a patterned long-sleeved turtleneck and wore her long blonde hair straight for this simple Instagram video.
In the caption, she wrote, “Driving in my new car with my new assistant!!!” along with a handful of emojis.

In December 2022, in a since-deleted Instagram post, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer gave some insight into her marital problems. He met the “Special Ops: Lioness” actress on the set of the “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and the two got engaged in September 2021, just two months before the controversial 13-year conservatorship was dropped by a judge in November 2021.
The two tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in the backyard of his Thousand Oaks estate in Los Angeles, California, in June 2022. July 28, 2023, is listed as the separation date in the divorce filing dated August 16.
In December 2022, the pop star said her then-husband thought she had become a “fool” because of her newfound love of meditation.

Britney began her post by writing, “I’m the meditation b—- now ??♀️… my husband doesn’t like it … he thinks I’m crazy. My masseuse always does it and she looks so calm … I’m like wow … looks interesting.”
“Falling deep into myself … I say all this because I’m trying to take care of myself,” she wrote at the time. “Usually I forget to eat … I wait too long and I’m too sensitive so if anything goes wrong at home, it’s like the world has come to an end.”

As The Blast previously reported, in late August, TMZ revealed that Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, and manager, Cade Hudson, hired two new staff members to take care of her at her Thousand Oaks estate. It is not known at this time what one staff member did, but the other is reportedly a medical professional who has been hired to make sure the pop star stays on top of her medication.
It is unclear whether an employee has been hired to replace Paul’s former housekeeper Richard Soliz, who reportedly had a brief relationship with the pop star. As Page Six reported, the former employee has a criminal background, including multiple misdemeanors and felonies.
The outlet reported that, in April 2014, Paul was convicted of one count of disturbing the peace and arranged a plea deal to drop one count of child endangerment, according to court documents obtained by the outlet. Two years later, Paulb was reportedly convicted of driving without a license but successfully dropped a separate charge of driving with a suspended license in another plea deal. Paul was also reportedly convicted of firearm possession in December 2022.

On September 13, a source told ET that the two were engaged but that her team was not “supportive of the relationship” and felt that he was “not good for her.” However, they went on to say that Britney “likes him though” because “he makes her feel like he’s acting as her protector and she finds comfort in that, especially when she’s moving through the breakup with Sam.”
The next day, a source told the Daily Mail that the two had a “short engagement” she and Sam broke up, but he broke it off after she found out about his criminal past and “no longer had any communication” with him.
The insider insists that the two are not currently together. “They had a brief fling after Sam left but that was it,” the insider said. “Britney hung out with him twice and, at the time, [she] unaware of his criminal past. He no longer has any communication with her.”
